Flashback: Misty wandered deeper into the sanctuary of the pack gardens, her heart heavy with memories she wished to shake off like the autumn leaves swirling around her feet. Vibrant flowers burst around her in a riot. Misty brushed her fingers across the petals, feeling their soft texture, but the beauty around her offered little comfort. She caught sight of two familiar faces. “Hey, Misty! Want to help us pick these pumpkins?” Clark called out, kneeling beside a patch shrouded in thick vines. Misty forced a smile, wiping her damp palms on her jeans. "Sure, why not? Looks like you need all the help you can get." Clark chuckled, his hands already rifling through the green tendrils and struggling to get a grip on the guord. “I think you're right, Misty. Clark here seems to be struggling.
