Chapter 34Fritz “ASH, ASHLEY. WAIT.” I woke up. On a cot. In a jail cell. The strangest, most realistic dream I'd ever had lingered as I regained my bearings. Dawn had to be close. My brain grappled with the arrival of my friend, missing so long, and trying to reconstruct the conversation. Where were we? Had he actually found me?
