She hurriedly gathered the money inside her backpack. She was careful not to take too much. She only took the amount she needed. As she made to leave, she heard a noise, so she turned off her flashlight. She tried to hide but her hand accidentally hit an object in the dark. It fell on the floor and shattered which told her it was a glass. She tried to put on her flashlight, but unfortunately it slipped from her hand. She had to bend down to search for it. She felt the floor with her hand hastily, forgetting that a glass shattered on the floor few seconds ago. "Ouchhh", she cried out as a glass cut her hand. "Damn. Oh no no no." She rose up and began to feel round the wall furiously for a switch. Luckily she found it and she turned on the light. The light spread round the room revealing its beauty. The first thing that caught her eyes was the picture frame on the wall. A handsome but grumpy young man stared at her with piercing green eyes. She trembled a bit, then took her eyes off the picture. Her hand was bleeding profusely. The cut was deep. She couldn't go back home like that. Her sister would panic to death. She had to dress the wound so she searched round the office for a first aid kit. She found one in the drawer and she quickly got into the act of dressing her wound. As she applied the antiseptic, it stung painfully. She bit her lip as she tried to hold back her cry. She quickly rounded up the treatment and returned the first aid kit. She grabbed her flashlight and backpack and made to leave. Before leaving, she looked round the office. It wasn't a mess but the shattered glass and her blood stains was an eyesore. She wished to clean it but there was no time. Her sister must be worried sick already. She opened the door, but before stepping out she looked at the picture on the wall. "Hey grumpy man. I'm sorry I made this mess. And you should try smiling. It's healthy. If you don't know how, I could teach you." She giggled before walking out of the office and shutting the door behind her. She opened the door to her house and walked in quietly. After, shutting the door behind her the light was turned on, by someone else. Her sister. "Where have you been?", Kosarin inquired with a serious look. Kyla laughed nervously as she walked closer to her sister. "Well, I went out to see the moon." Kosarin scoffed. "The moon. Really? Do you think I am a child to fall for that?." "No Kosa," Kyla said with a pleading look. "It's not like that." Kosarin crossed her arms and looked away. "Even if you went to see the moon, why did you go without me?" "Because you were asleep and you need enough rest," Kyla explained. "Just take a look at the dark circles around your eyes. You need enough sleep. You've gone pale." Kosarin began to whimper." I know. It's because you are ashamed of me." Kyla groaned and ran her hand through her mass of curly black hair. "No Kosa, it's really not that." Kosarin's sobs slowly turned into a cry. "s**t," Kyla cursed. "Are we really doing this now." But kosarin didn't stop. She cried on. Kyla pulled her off the chair and drew her to herself. "Alright sissy. I'm sorry." "Are you sure?" Kosarin whimpered as she stared at her elder sister with wide teary eyes. "Come on Kosa," Kyla groaned. "Don't push it." Kosarin giggled. "Alright, fine. I won't." "That's better. Come on now, let's go to bed."
