0013 — Edmund

Isa gripped the towel like a lifeline, eyes darting between me and my brother's bed. “Best time to talk about a thing like that is right in front of your brother,” she said, voice tight, “who could probably hear every word we’re saying.... Have some... decency. And don’t - don’t disturb Mr. Bryan's peace. Not like this.” Sharp-tongued trying to run? I’ve never wanted to catch something more. Bryan lay there between us, hooked up to those relentless machines. I refused to look at his face. If any piece of my brother was still aware, he’d be screaming every curse he knew at me. This was the same man who’d fired my ass the morning after I bent his PA over his desk and f****d her senseless. Now I was claiming his caretaker right here in front of him. Not because he couldn’t stop me — though he couldn’t — but because Isa had lit a fire in me I wasn’t going to ignore. She moved to the other side of the bed, trying to create distance. I shifted too, turning to face her directly, watching every move she made. If I let Eddie take control, I’d have her. That version took what he wanted without apology. He was the one who would’ve told her to get on her knees the second we were alone. But Eddie also destroyed everything he touched. The newer version of me — Edmund — wanted to do this properly. To chase her the way a woman like Isa deserved. To woo her slowly with flowers left on the kitchen counter, quiet compliments that lingered just long enough to make her blush, and stolen moments that built the kind of tension neither of us could ignore. I wanted to seduce her patiently until she was the one choosing to open up for me, until those strong, stubborn legs parted because she couldn’t stand the ache anymore The problem was, neither Eddie nor Edmund had any real experience with romance. Not the real kind. All I knew how to do was take. I rubbed a finger across the bridge of my nose and took a deep breath, deciding which part of me should take the wheel. Finally, I spoke, “Downstairs. In forty minutes, Isa. When you’re done here, you come find me.” *** Isa came down the stairs. Red-cheeked. Jaw clenched. She looked like she wanted to bite something. All I could think about was bending her over the railing right here and f*****g her raw from behind, watching that ass jiggle with every brutal thrust until her legs gave out. Christ, Ed. Get a f*****g grip! I knocked back another heavy swallow of scotch, killed the timer on my phone and shoved it back into my pocket. She stopped a few feet away, flushed and breathing hard, her chest rising and falling visibly under that crisp uniform. “It—it shouldn’t happen again,” she stammered. “That thing… upstairs. That was inappropriate. Unprofessional, Mr. Edmund.” I didn’t give her a chance to say anything else. I closed the distance in two strides and yanked her hard against me, crushing her soft, warm body into mine. Her full t**s pressed against my chest, her hips flush with mine so she could feel exactly how hard I already was for her. She stopped breathing entirely. Those wide hazel eyes locked onto mine, throat working desperately as if she could swallow the tension back down. “What are you doing to me?” I murmured “I’ve tried — God, I’ve tried to get you out of my head since the second you walked in. But I can’t. You’ve got me so twisted up that the only thing that feels right anymore is having you like this… completely at my mercy, Bunny.” Bunny. Because that’s exactly what she looked like — big, frightened eyes, frozen in place, pinned under my stare like a rabbit caught in the middle of a dark road with nowhere to run. I should’ve felt bad about cornering her like this. I didn’t. Not even a little. If anything, it made my c**k twitch harder. She opened her mouth, then closed it again, struggling. Finally, she forced the words out, voice a little breathless. “First off, I’m a nurse, not a bunny.” I nodded slowly, my arms still locked firmly around her waist, holding her tight against my body. "That’s cute. You can keep telling yourself that. You can wear the uniform, say the professional words..." She tried to wriggle free, twisting in my grasp and pushing against my chest. I tightened my arms around her, refusing to let even an inch of space form between us. “Easy, Bunny,” I murmured, lowering my head so my lips brushed against her ear. “You’re not going anywhere.” “It’s not... advisable, Mr. Edmund, to do this” she stammered, tripping over the words. “I—I have a patient to look after. I’m here for Mr. Bryan. Nothing else." She bit down hard on her lower lip, worrying the soft flesh. I leaned in until our breaths mingled. Then I kissed her. While my tongue teased hers, my hand slid down her body, fingers brushing over the fabric of her uniform before I began pushing the hem of her dress upward, inch by torturous inch. “Ed… we… we don’t have to do this,” she gasped against my lips. “My… my job.” I pulled back just enough to look into her eyes, my hand still slowly dragging her skirt higher up her thighs. “You can keep lying with that pretty mouth, but we both know the truth — you want me to touch you. You’re aching for it, little bunny.” “No…” she whispered, the denial so weak it barely qualified as one. Her eyes darted away from mine, unable to hold my stare. “Sounds like you’re trying to convince yourself, not me.”
