Despite being a useless Beta, Horon has been secretly in love with Lena Hope since childhood. The beautiful and talented daughter of the small clan in Blue. Sometimes Horon would only dare to look at Lena's beautiful back from afar. He was not even calling her name. He did not think that one day Lena Hope would stand in front of him at such a close distance. His large round eyes and snow-white skin made Horon's gaze impossible to leave.
"Will you win?" Lena asked.
Horon replied instinctively, "I'll try,"
"I'll be watching," Lena replied with a beautiful smile. "So let's try until the last minute,"
Horon considers it the most beautiful encouragement he has received since living. (If he could let Lena see that his efforts were worth it), Horon said to himself. And trying to hold out hope for Lena's actions.
The battle to choose the next successor of the Belona clan is also to select the leader of Blue. So many other families in the area sent the best children hoping to defeat Edden Belona. Horon's purpose was much smaller than that; he wanted to be recognized by others. And more importantly, he wanted to get a better place to sleep for his mother. There are no rules; the last person in the ring will win. Anyone can participate, and no one guarantees their lives. No one withdrew; all wished to change their lives. That included Horon, though no one believed he would do anything with that useless physicality.
"That i***t dares to look at Lena," Monias growled at Edden.
Edden whistled a long sigh of amusement and replied, "It won't exist in this world after today; what are you angry about?"
"He has no status," Monias replied. "It's just worthy of the old w****s on the corner of Hell's Street. I'll take his eyes off and feed my Pock,"
"At will," Edden replied coldly. "My father allowed it."
"No one can beat you, Edden," Monias said flatteringly.
That sentence pleased Edden; he put his arm around Monias' shoulders like his closest brothers. Horon stood in a lonely corner of the vast arena, still thinking about how to escape attacks from the strongest Alphas. Horon knew they would take him as their first target.
The judges in the top row include the most robust Blue. Of course, there is no absence of Rack Belona in the middle position. His expression was extremely eager to hear the people around him talking about his eldest son. Horon glanced in Lena's direction, her gaze always looking gently to one side, unfortunately not at him. (Will be fine), Horon thought to himself. He bent over to do some of his usual movements. There was a burst of laughter all around.
"Hey, what kind of farce is he doing?" One said.
"Where the hell did he come from?" Another asked.
Rack Belona's expression darkened when someone said Horon was his son.
"Very quickly, it won't be anymore," Rack Belona snapped angrily.
Herlay pushed his hooded hat up to reveal his tiny face and huge eyes, and he lifted his chin to look down at Horon and said, "It's miserable. Aren't you afraid, Rack?"
"Why?" Rack Belona exclaimed in amazement.
Herlay huffed, "If he could, he would have died a long time ago,"
"No, it's the key to finding the ring, Herlay," Rack Belona replied firmly. "So by all means, let him live,"
"Just that much of a possibility?" Herlay replied contemptuously. "Edden won't let Horon live,"
"It could die when we find the ring," Rack Belona said arrogantly.
Below the stage, after the splitter announced to begin. One by one, they gathered in a circle and trapped Horon in the middle. Horon's surroundings were filled with eyes staring at him like hawks had found prey. Horon was terrified; all the strongest Alphas were gathered there and wanted to kill him. Horon didn't have the true power of the Alpha warrior.
The wind whipped from Horon's back in a straight line, the sense of danger rushing over him, causing him to jump to the side to avoid escaping. Edden watched with interest as Horon tried to get around in the circle to escape the pursuit of Heckla's second son. Horon could see his opponent's next move, but running away wasn't a good idea. Moreover, this was only the first; if he continued like this, he would have no strength for the matches behind him.
"s**t, Horon," Brook squealed. "Stand back and fight like a real man,"
Horon was smart. Directly opposing Horon would lose immediately, and he could not fail the first battle. Lena is watching him. His mother needed to move to the main house instead of sleeping on the grass in the shed. Horon's eyes lit up as he pushed gently and watched Brook's footsteps. Oddly enough, Horon had anticipated the next move Brook would hit. This Horon had never encountered before. Horon doubtfully continued to stare at Brook. The images that would happen next appeared before Horon's eyes, and Brook's blow was exactly what Horon saw.
What's going on? Horon suspiciously hid behind Brook and hit him in the back. Edden's expression wasn't as sneering as it had been earlier, Horon's actions dumbfounded everyone. Brook's big fat body fell into the ring. Horon successfully defeats a mighty Alpha warrior like Brook.
Herlay clicked her tongue and exclaimed, "That bloodline cannot underestimate. If you let Horon survive, it's hard to predict what will happen in the future, Rack,"
"Just lucky, Herlay," Rack Belona replied firmly.
"Devius' bloodline can't give birth to a mediocre person, Rack," Herlay said seriously.
