Aunt Dot and Mistress Beatrix met Everly and Declan as they approached the manor. There was concern etched across the faces of both ladies and they looked deep in conversation. As soon as they caught sight of the new couple, the duo stopped.
“I see everything worked out as it should,” Mistress Beatrix said with a small smile.
“Indeed,” agreed Aunt Dottie as the four-some met.
Everly looked up at the man next to her as she said, “This is Declan. Alpha of Cold Moon Pack and my chosen.”
Mistress Beatrix extended her hand, “A warm welcome from our Coven. I am Mistress Beatrix, in loco Mistress for Sisters of the Mystic Grove. It is our pleasure to welcome you into our manor and our lands.” The introduction was formal, but in keeping with tradition when two powerful unallied leaders met.
