BRITTANY's POV

I enter at Lolo's Beau Beach Cabin dito sa Laguna. It's thirty minutes away from our home. When I receive his call of course I'm trembling ano, just a little bit of pampa-kitang gilas lang kay Lolo even hindi naman talaga ako takot sa kaniya.

I don't have any bags na hawak ko so I just finely and enthusiastically greet Lolo sitting at the bar counter inside.

He widen his arm to welcome and embrace me. Urgh! kahit matanda na 'to, I love this old man at umirap.

Siya lang kasi ang nag-iisang kakampi ko....I think? I'm not ma-drama, just tellin' my life but oh! speaking of my life.

Hindi ko man lang nakita si Sarge sa office niya kanina, but surely he loves my surprise and that's a hundred percent. Sayang kasi at may meeting siya. Buti hindi niya inisip na kumuha pa ng secretary. Well, dapat lang talaga at baka ma-pull ko 'yong hair niya at sumama ang scalp nung babaeng 'yon.

"I know what you did, Brit." oh no, ito na naman si Lolo.

He's going to talk again about sa pag-takas ko sa airport and that's gonna be a never ending.

"Lolo, I know hindi dapat ako nagso-'sorry' sayo. I'm just out of space, at the same time I'm tired. I said sorry to Mom naman, Lolo." insert a long face with a s***h paawa filter.

He winged his head and scratch his chin hanggang sa hinihimas niya na ang mala-silver niyang bigote.

"Hmm, pag-iisipan ko." I frowned on what he said na 'pag-iisipan' niya.

"Ang ano?" and automatically raised my eyebrows.

"Na uh! nothing."

I roll my eyes in the air, "Lolo, I can visit Dad anytime or maybe now? Tutal no more drama's naman tayo here so....can I go now?"

Lagpas pa kasi ng Beau Beach Cabin ni Lolo ang Rest House kung nasaan ang puntod ni Dad. I don't know kung anong trip ng families ko at bakit doon pa nila inilibing si Dad and other members of the family na nag-passed away na.

When i think of it may balahibo is tumatayo like...grrr! creepy!

"I want you to do something for me, that's why I called you."

Ngumiwi ako, "and what is that, Lolo?"

Before siya magsalita ay kinuha niya ang beer glass niya at ininom ang laman.

"Since you are prominent on presiding your own company. Since you're the only GIRL that I trust the most..." he stopped and look at me na parang kinikilatis ang expression ko.

I cringe in the word 'ONLY GIRL'. Anong trip ng grandfather ko, really?

"I want you to dealt with Mr. Guevarra. I want you to cooperate and I know you can manage that. Maaasahan ba kita?"

I put my right hand in my mouth in shock. I heard it right, diba?

"Oh geez Lolo! as in Octavius Sargent Gueva---" my heart thump fast for real but he cut me.

"Guevarra wants a competition. I want you to present in front of him our new stand alone merchandise company in England." he calmy said and I furrowed.

Tumayo siya and he walk sa fridge at kinuha ang red wine saka sinalinan ang beer glass na hawak niya.

"Why?" nagugulohang tanong ko.

Merchandise company? as in the newly company he built? I think that's a confidential, that's what he said before. He doesn't even want to broadcast it nationwide.

"Bu-but why is... why the company---I mean... why me?"

Mabagal na naglakad siya palabas ng bar counter at pumasok sa lounge area. Yes, ganito kalaki ang bahay ni lolo. But let me tell you, nakakapagod ang bahay niya.

"I can't no more handle it, Brit." Umupo siya sa sofa at prenteng nag-de quatro. Ngayon ko lang napansin na para akong doggy na nakasunod sa kaniya...urgh!

I heave a deep sigh at malayang humiga sa sofa. I wanna put my feet sana sa dulo ng sofa but lolo handle his tungkod kaya I sat innocently.

Baka ipukpok niya pa sa akin 'yon no!

"Since Aiden died. I promise to take care of your mother, "Umirap ako, "Because she's pregnant." I calmly said.

"No."

"Because that's what Aiden wants me to do."

My mouth shape in 'O'

For a second I closely lookin' at Lolo like waiting him to tell me more story. Bigla akong na-curious on what my Mom and Dad life like was before.

"Can I hear more?"

I said but I don't know bakit ko nasabi iyon. I was just curious.

All my life I was just hearing my Mom saying that Lolo is an 'Evil turns to a generous one.' But deep inside Mom always saying na Lolo has a good heart...really really good heart.

Even though I don't know their whole story of her and Dad...and of course Lolo.

"I have nothing to tell. Just be generous and show the little kindest in your heart when you are coated with vicious." He said.

Hinimas niya na naman ang mala-silver niyang bigote at tumawa.

"What's funny?" takang tanong ko.

He just shrug and make a sip sa kaniyang wine.

"I'm a spoiled bratty before," at tumawa ulit siya, inaasar ba ako ni Lolo? "Can you imagine that, Brit?" at ngiting tinignan ako.

"I can't imagine but...I can imagine you're being weird Lolo." I smile.

"Nevermind hahahaha!"

He stood up and I just watching him walking away and left me here nothing.

I remember what he said, 'Just be generous and show the little kindest in your heart when you are coated with vicious'

I winged my head at tumayo na. Si Lolo talaga!

Iyon lang pala ang sasabihin bakit hindi na lang sinabi kanina sa tawag!

I was about to leave the house when I heard chuckle and found Lolo and Tito Allen.

I saw shock on his long face, tss!

"H-hey Brittany!"

Umirap ako and smirk in front of him. I cross my arms at dahan dahang lumapit sa kanila.

"Hey Allen!" I reply.

"Brittany?" Suway sa akin ni Lolo and I stop.

Before I turn my back I gave him a little smirk on that human being.

Now they know that I am hella real and muli akong nagbalik. Puwes, let their systems vibrates.

"Bye Lolo," and hug him and gave him a peck of kiss on his pisngi.

"Uh, Brittany"

Muling tawag ni Lolo.

Inis na humarap ako sa kaniya but hindi ko pinahalata, "Hmm?" raising my eyebrows.

"I want you to take over Beau Bank Incorporation."

"D-dad!" I saw his shock at gano'n din ako.

Napatulala ako ng ilang seconds and snap it realizing what Lolo said just now.

Allen...I mean, TITO ALLEN is now holding Lolo's hand saying something. I still....can't move on.

I tried to regain my poise.

I clasp my both hands.

Trying to make a puppy eye on Lolo and also to Tito Allen.

My eyes getting teary na, "You don't need to... Lolo." I stopped.

"See Dad? Brittany can't manage the bank in this situation. Binibigla mo si Brittany, Dad."

Matamis na bumaling ako kay Tito Allen na ngayo'y nagmamakaawa ang kaniyang mga titig.

"Tito Allen is right, Lolo." I pause, I look at Tito Allen and my eye caught him smirk.

"But I will try my very very best to make the Beau got in the highest with my power and don't worry too much Lolo. Beau is in my righteous hands." Dahan dahang pahayag ko.

I started to leave the house while still hearing Lolo's proud statements and leaving Tito Allen dumb founded.

I sigh.

"My day is so fresh! nicely, gently and fantastic!"
