I woke up with a huge headache. I opened my eyes and I saw Alarick lying beside me. I groaned and sat up slowly. Sobrang sakit talaga ng katawan ko. I laid in bed again dahil hindi ko pa kayang umupo. My body feels cold kaya I wrapped the comforter tightly around my body. May lagnat ba ako? I touch my forehead at mainit ito. I sigh, may lagnat nga ako.
I glanced at Alarick and I saw him open his eyes. He stared at me at agad itong napaupo. Maybe he saw me wince in pain and the coldness of my body?
"What's wrong?" He asked me worriedly. He touched my forehead and I heard him curse and got up. I shivered and I saw him turning the aircon off. He came back with a thermometer at nilagay niya ito sa loob ng bibig ko.
"I can't go to work today." Sabi niya and I glanced at him tiredly.
"Why?"
