Few days before
"I noticed you and Michael are no longer as close you were before hope all is well between you two" Ms Munfat said when she saw me walk into the house.
"We are no longer together ma'am, but we are on good terms" I said honestly and politely. But inwardly it was shame and guilt that was eating me up.
There's a shame that comes to some ladies after a failed relationship especially when the whole world knows about it and probably looked up to you because of it.
Well in my case Ms Munfat was the world, she was not looking up to me though. I was pretty sure that she could not wait to start preaching to me on how I should stay away from boys and focus on my work.
