Michael's POV
I woke up smiling, and no nothing intimate happened between Mara and I last night. But it was a good night, Mara and I spoke and shared childhood beach experiences and we ended the night cuddled up in each other's arms.
Strictly Platonic! Surprisingly neither of us made a move. And weirdly that made me see her as more attractive, was I running mad or more.
I wanted Malem, I loved her even. But whenever Mara was beside me, I do not think of Malem, or care about her, I'm never feeling insecurity or negative vibes.
Now I wanted to tell her the truth about how I truly felt and maybe I could even tell her about Malem. Although I should talk to Malem about it first but it was the past so I should not bother.
