Malem's POV
I was about to sleep when I heard my Door opening. I thought it was Mr Rude Angry Cheating Deceitful Face and I was ready to let the fire start but to my peace of mind it was my Mum.
And I never knew in my life I would feel so relieved to see my mum.
" Are you still awake Malem" she asked as she slowly walked towards the bed.
" Yes Mommy I am awake" I almost rolled my eyes. Clearly I was awake. What if I decided to say No. What exactly was going to happen? Nothing hopefully. She would probably just leave the room.
"I just came to tell you Good Night, you seem a bit off today and unusually quiet, Did my words earlier offend you?" She asked calmly, as guilt crept up her back.
