A new ability

"I'm surprised you haven't figured it out already Monarch" Luther teases me as we walk into the cabin. He puts a spell on the cabin to cloak it so no one can see it. I need some time to learn this ability. "I knew I'd have to eventually, but I was a bit preoccupied with trying to find out who Corbin was and how to kill him." I smirk back. "Ok, well its a very simple talent, however extremely hard to master. Most witches and warlocks get it within their first few tries, but it takes years to get it accurate." Luther warns me. "I only need to know the basics. I will master it in time." "First step, focus on where you want to go, invision the exact place, see it like you are in the middle of it." I close my eyes and invision my childhood bedroom, I can see my bed, feel my parents presence. "Once you have it pictured, place you hands together and as you pull them apart, invision yourself standing right into that place." I do as he says and place my hands together, as I pull them apart I invision myself in that room. I feel this strange warmth running through my body and then cold, I open my eyes and I see my home. I'm not in my room though, I'm in the hallway outside my door. I understand what Luther meant by mastering the new ability. But I did it, I teleported myself back to my childhood home. With a smile on my face, I am quite pleased with myself. I take a step to my door and go to grab the knob. I slowly turn the knob and enter my room. It's exactly how I left it. I'm honestly surprised the Alpha didn't give someone else my home after I moved in with Davin. I go and sit on my bed and sniff, I can still smell my parents even after all these years. A tear falls down my face. After a few moments of peace, I come back to reality. I also realize I don't know how to get back. I'm assuming it's the same concept, however the cabin is cloaked. I wonder if I can focus on a person and go to them? I stand up, close my eyes and I see Davin, his handsome face, his smile, the warmth I feel when he holds me. I place my hands together and slowly pull them apart. I feel that warmth again and before I even open my eyes, "Oh thank Goddess, you're back" Davin envelopes me in a hug. "It worked." is all I said. Feeling suddenly tired, I look up at Luther, "is it supposed to drain me?" "The first few times yes, you quite literally moved your entire being somewhere else. The farther you go, the more energy you use up." I simply nod. I don't have time to rest though, I need to keep practicing. "How do I teleport others?" I'm still leaning in Davin for support. "They just need to be touching a part of you. Hand, leg, arm, shoulder, even a piece of your clothing." This new ability is pretty cool. Definitely going to be tough to master, but I don't have much time to dwell on that. I need to move faster than my wolf can go. I have a Vampire Werewolf on my tail.
