Time to fight

Luther, we have company. I put a barrier up over the Inn. Im not sure who they are, but they smell like Vampires. You still have those stakes? When I stayed with Luther to learn how to use my powers and my other abilities, he taught me how to communicate with other witches and warlocks as well. I also found out that being the Monarch, I am connected to not only wolves but all witches and warlocks. I hope to one day be able to teach young witches and warlocks to control their powers. But I can't do that until Corbin is dead, so for now my dreams are put on hold. Davin and I reach the cabin and just as we get inside I smell it. Blood. "How did they find me?" I wonder out loud. "This place smells of you, maybe they have been staking this place out waiting to see who returns." Davin said. "Then they know who I am and soon, so will Corbin. We need to move quickly. If he finds me before I finish the potion, he'll take me and I won't be able to stop him." "I'll never let that happen." Davin growls. "I am not strong enough to fight him alone, I won't win." he grabs my face to look at him. "We will get what we need, and we will kill him together." he says with assurance. "We need to leave now, we cannot stay here." we turn to walk out the door. Just as Luther walks out the back of the Inn, 3 stakes in his hands. As we reach him, I can smell them coming out of the woods, 3 men, all with jet black hair, red eyed, their fangs elongated. "We have been waiting a long time for you." the one in the middle says. "You would be wise to just come quietly with us" says the one to his right. Both Davin and Luther take a step in front of me, "I don't think so." Davin says. Guys there are more in the woods, we are surrounded I open the connection between Luther, Davin and I. Whats the plan kid? Luther asks me. If Davin shifts into his wolf, he'll be stronger. You use the stakes and fire when you can. And as for me, I will show them what its like to mess with the Monarch. All of a sudden, my whole body starts to glow. Its a shimmer of red and yellow. For a moment, all of the men just stare at me. I levitate myself into the air and face the woods behind us. I turn to Davin and Luther, "What are you two waiting for?" I shout and throw and fireball at the 3 vamps standing in front of them. I hit the one on the left and he instantly burns the flames. The other 2 jump back and yell for their clan to attack. Within a second, over 50 more vamps come flying out of the woods all around us. Davin quickly shifts into Hunter and he lets out a massive roar that shakes the ground and knock over a handful of Vampires, I take the opportunity to throw another fireball at them and they all burst into flames. Hunter takes off in a sprint towards the other 2 who spoke to us, while Luther runs at the Vampires coming out of the woods. Throwing fireballs until he is close enough to stake them. He takes out about a dozen as more come straight for him. I put a barrier up around Luther and Hunter only allowing them to be attacked from the Vampires that are closest to them. Once the others realize they cannot get to them, they turn and focus on me. I levitate down to the ground, still glowing red and yellow. With a smirk in my face, I motion for all of the Vampires to come after me. The hoard all start at me at once and with one swift motion, I throw a cannon of fireballs all around me, taking out the first row instantly burning them. The second wave starts towards me only this time, a few at a time. Two lunge at me and I easily dodge and move to my right as I grab the stake Luther had left on the ground for me and stake one of them, I spin quickly and stake the other as they both scream in pain and disintegrate. Three more come at me and I jump over the one closest and snap his head clean off, I lunge at another and fake right, but go left and kick him in the face. I take the stake and grab him from behind and drive it through his back to his heart. The third comes quickly behind me and before I can react, a fireball burst him into flames. I turn to see Luther facing my way, giving me a wink before he turns and focuses on his own enemies. I smile and look around me as the rest of the Vampire hoard focuses on me. Taking a quick note there are about 30 left around me, wishing I knew how many were around Davin and Luther but I don't have time to look as the remaining Vampires all come at me. I snap my fingers and they all freeze in place, I take the stake and quickly cast a spell on it to multiple. I now have 30 or more stakes each one aimed at the Vampires surrounding me. I look at them all, fear in their faces. I smirk and say "this is the true power of the Monarch" and throw my hands up, each stake flies at super speed towards every one of them, impaling every last one of them. They scream and burst into ash. My eyes turn to see Luther and ash around him. I then turn to my mate and see him huffing with ash around him as well. We all look together at the 2 Vampires left. They look at me with shock, as I run full speed to them, I am a second late as they vanish. "They are going to tell Corbin, we need to leave now Davin." I say as he shifts back. I look at Luther, "theres something I need you to teach me fast." He looks at me in confusion for a moment before his eyes light up with excitement.
