The announcement

Davin hasn't left my side since I told him about my dream. He moved me into his room and we spoke to his parents about us being mates. They were of course ecstatic and couldn't wait to step down and allow us to take over. I begged Davin to give me some time. I needed to find out who the man was and hopefully stop him. I wouldn't be able to take my place as Luna knowing someone was after me. He agreed and since then we've spent our days in the library doing as much research as we can. I went back into my family history to see if there was any mention of him. Throughout my line, there were 3 other Elemental Werewolves. One was a male, however the other 2 were females. "There is not much about the other two Werewitches, it is said they died at a young age, but it does not say from what. They were twins aparently though. But according to this, the last Elemental werewolf, from 300 years ago had encountered a man said to be her "true mate". I continued to read out loud. "She loved him with everything she had. She was 16 when she came into her powers. Her wolf emerged at 17. Shortly after, an Alpha named Corbin showed up to do business with her Alpha. She was in the training grounds at the time and he had entered while on a tour with her Alpha. She however didn't feel a pull of the mate bond, but he claimed that he did and took her with him when he left." "What else does it say about them?" Davin questioned looking over my shoulder. "Theres a big gap for a few years, but I did find one more chapter." Davin comes and sits by my side while I read the journal. I turn the page to the last entry in the journal. "My time is almost up." I read. "He isn't who I thought he was. I was just a piece in his puzzle. I am nothing more than an end to him. But I'll show him my true powers. He'll regret picking me." I sat there and just stared at the page. My thoughts began to race. What did she do to him? Why did he want her? What does he want with me? My thoughts were swimming that I almost didn't feel the tingles running down my arm. I pull myself out of my own head and I look over at Davin and lay my head on his shoulder. "I don't know what to do now." I sigh. "We will figure it out baby. I'm not losing you." He says as his kisses my forehead. I smile and close to eyes, listening to his heartbeat in sync with mine. After a few moments, I close the book and pick it up when something falls out of the back. I pick it up the piece of paper and look at it. I gasp, "No way! This is what I've been searching for."
