Amal arrived back at his apartment after the hour-long bus ride from the airport. He still had some time before he had to be at work, so he decided to catch a quick nap, as he’d gotten up earlier than usual to accompany Stuart to his flight. But before he shut his eyes, he took his phone out of his pocket to check for messages.
There were none. Of course, Stuart would have his phone off while on the plane, and he wouldn’t be sending anything until Amal was out of work, as the flight to New York would take twelve hours.
