Chapter 14: Intimate DetailsAs they shared dinner that evening, a meal well beyond anything Amal had ever had in his entire life, Nasir began to tell a few stories about his son.
“I remember when I gave him a motorcycle for his sixteenth birthday,” Nasir remarked. “He had it only a week before he totaled it in an accident.”
“The same thing happened to me,” said Amal. “I had an accident with a motorcycle back in Jordan. I was working though, making deliveries for my boss. It was only a small fender bender. I wasn’t hurt.”
