Chapter Six CASS The journey back through the maze to the castle, despite my best attempts at conversation, was mostly silent. Damon didn’t hesitate in choosing the path out of the maze. He probably had the route memorized. With his longer legs, I had to almost jog to keep pace with him, but I didn’t mind that. It helped take my mind off the cold.
