Epilogue CASS A dish was set down in front of us by a servant and I gasped as the cover was removed with a flourish. Beside me, Damon’s eyes danced with amusement. “Strawberries!” I shouted, loud enough for several of the wedding guests’ heads to swivel around. “You remembered!” Undeterred by the eyes on me, I reached forward and shoved a strawberry into my mouth, groaning as the sweetness burst across my tongue. Damon chuckled, watching me. He accepted the strawberry I pressed into his hand and raised an eyebrow as he bit into it, clearly surprised by the sweet taste. “Good, right?” I grinned. He nodded.
