“My lady, it's time for breakfast,” her maid said outside her door while knocking.

“Okay.” she replied coldly and do her thing.

She reached her legal age last month, unlike her sister Xamantha's grandiloquent debut. She didn't receive any, even a single 'Happy Birthday'. She didn't even know when's her real birthday, the only thing she know is when the year ends, she grew another age.

“Why do you always act like you're a VIP? Tsk,” Xamantha's voice welcomed her. They're all present, the Zoldyck Family. The whole area was silent before she comes, who dares to oppose their Father? Well, she dares. She's the only one who dares.

“Then why don't eat? I don't even like to be with you and please don't talk to me so early in the morning. Your voice disgusts me,” she said indifferently without even glancing at her Father's face.

Xryz gave her a dagger look, “Zia, honey. Please be mindful, we're in front of the food, hmm?” she said while give Hel a sweet and fake smile. She's holding back because she knows that Helmian, the Head, dislikes noise and loud.

“Who told you to call me Zia? And stop that, disgusting,” Hel said without even minding the eyes that looking at her. She can't understand how shameless Xryz is to talk to her like that. Xryz is mad, she acts like a saint in front of Helmian but the truth is she's very dangerous.

A loud thud makes them stunned, Helmian slammed the table holding a spoon in his hand, Heldrizia ignored her Father's warning and continue eating. The whole area was filled with deafening silence. The Head of the Zoldyck, Helmian, is literally a nonchalant person. He's a great head but not as a father.

“You coming?” Xerxes said to Heldrizia, Xerxes is Hel's second eldest brother. She stood up, “Yes, at hindi ako sasabay sa'yo.” After that, she left without minding everyone.

She let out a sigh, “Maybe, I should ask Father to give me my own house. I'm sick living with them, tss.”

Not too far away from her, she saw a group of girls ganging up with one person. What a cliche story, bullying, really? She didn't mind them and continue walking. Her plan is to ignore them and walk peacefully but someone grab her blouse. Oh come on, she didn't even likes to meddle with other's business.

“Waaah, help me!” the girl said while looking at her with pleading eyes. Heldrizia removes the girl's hand and glared at her, “Don't touch me.” Her cold voice sent some chill down to their spine. The group of girls cleared their throat and starts walking away.

Hel stares at her and turn around. “Tss, piss off.”

Heldrizia stops walking and throw a dagger look at the girl who's following her, “Why are you following me? Get lost, jeez!”

“But I thought we're friends?” the girl said with innocent voice. Hel looked at her with an unbelievable expression. Friends? Them? You gotta be kidding her.

“Ha!” Hel let out a single laugh, “You're crazy.”

Inside the classroom, Hel is sleeping. No one even bother talking to her, well they think she's an outcast and who dares talk to that terrifying woman. The door slammed open and the girl from earlier enters.. She's catching her breath while her hands are on her knees.

“Where is Heldrizia!” the girls shouted. No one one bothers to amswer, who's Heldrizia anyway?

The girl started walking towards Hel, while the latter is still sleeping. When the girl is about to tap her, Heldrizia grab the girl's arm and gave her a piercing look. “What the f**k do you want?” sabi ni Hel. The girl was shocked and removes her arm form Heldrizia's grip immediately. That was one of a hell reflexes.

“Hey, you remember me? It's me!” the girl said cheerfully without minding Hel's death glares, all of the students in the room were looking at them. Who wouldn't be confused, you're talking to that woman who no one likes to talk to?Are you sort of weirdo?

“I don't. Get lost,” Heldrizia said calmly and goes back to her sleep. A sad reaction was visible in the girl's expression, she really wants to be her friend. The moment she knew that Heldrizia is her classmate she immediately runs towards their room.

They were all shocked when another girl came and grabbed Heldrizia's arm which makes the latter groaned in annoyance, “How could you do something so rude? Apologize to her right away,” the girl said firmly.

“Isn't that Kirsten? Wow, she's really brave” someone said.

Kirsten, one of the famous girl in the whole school. Almost everyone knows her and admires her, she's undeniably beautiful and kind? Well, I don't know a thing. Heldrizia violently takes her arm back, “What are you? Are you some sort of heroine? Am I the villain here? Please, stop being nosy.”

“Woaaah!!!!” the whole room was filled of boos and screams.

The embarrassment makes Kirsten reddened, “I'm sorry, I just want to tell you that you're being rude... I mean she just want to be your friend!” Kirsten's tone suddenly changed into soft and sweet voice.

Heldrizia mentally facepalm, ugh. What did she do to get into this? She took a deep sigh and face the two of them. “Look, miss. That's not enough reason for you to meddle, do you know what mind your own f*****g business means? And why do you have to drag me? Are you being serious right now? You drag me and you're crying, you stupid or what?” she took another sigh, “...and you, I don't really remember you, so if you're offended I'm telling you to get lost.” Heldrizia said with her calm and monotonous tone. When no one speaks up, Heldrizia goes back sleeping again not minding the deafening silence.

“Let's go, just don't disturb her,” Kirsten said with a low tone. Looks like she's been embarrassed by Heldrizia's remarks, she didn't expect that.

“What? No! I'll sit beside her,” the girl said. Kirsten look at her confusedly, “Can't you see she's not interested?”

“So what? Look, I know you're just being kind but please like what she said stop being nosy,” the girl said and points her fingers to Heldrizia while smiling at the other girl. Heldrizia shakes her head, she can't believe that girl. Heldrizia doesn't have many friends, does she even have friends? One thing's for sure, she doesn't want one.

Kirsten feels humiliated, “Hey, hey, now you're the one who's being rude.” someone said, it's Zero, her friend. He held Kirstein's hand, “Let's go.”

Heldrizia smirks annoyingly, “What a hero,” she murmurs. She rolled her eyes and look beside her, “Stop staring.”

“I'm the one from earlier, you don't really remember me? We're friends right? Right?”

“Whatever, what's your name?” Hel asked out of boredom, the girl smiles at her, “So you're interested in me now? Huh?”

“Okay, nevermind.”

“Hey, I'm just joking! I'm Xyntheia, nice to meet you!” Xyntheia said happily while blinking continuously. Hel just nodddd, “You're weird.”

The class ended, they're the only ones in the room and Xyntheia's really serious about befriending her. They heard small voices outside the room but didn't pay any attention.

“Hey, I told you it's okay, I'm okay.” It's like Kirsten's voice.

"You're okay? Why are you crying earlier then? Whatever! Who the hell is that Heldrizia?”

Both Hel and Xyntheia look at each other, Hel shrugs and raised her hand, “That's me.” The guy smirks and goes in front of Heldrizia, the moment they face to face, he slapped Hel.

“Vale! Oh my God!” Kirsten exclaimed. She never thought Vale would do something so violent!

Hel touched her cheek, “Ugh, how annoying. What is it this time?” she said as if nothing happens. Heldrizia's face was nonchalant and doesn't even looks like she's been hurt. She have to restrain herself from doing violent, she's still in probation until next week. After punching her personal driver, Heldrizia was put into probation by her Father.

“You dare touch Kirsten? Do you want to die?”

Surprisingly, Heldrizia let out a loud laugh. They were confused, “Tell me, what did the protagonist said? What did the villainess like me do?”

“Are you insane?” the guy shouted out of anger

“No, I'm perfectly in sane. But here's a warning for you,” Heldrizia points her finger towards his chest, “Be mindful of that two faced princess, you never know what's going on in that tricky little brain of her.”

“You—” he's gonna hit her but someone stops his hand, “Bro, don't ever think of doing that.” That someone has red hair, he has cross piercing in his left ear. That someone is Cecillion Vermilion, Xyntheia's cousin.

“Cecillion...” Kirsten blurted out.

“We ain't close for you to call me by my first name,” Cecillion said monotonously.

“If you're done, I'm leaving and oh, red hair. Thanks, bye.” Heldrizia said and walks out of the room.

“Hel wait!” Xyntheia shouted and runs towards her.

“Why did you meddle with my business? Get out of my problem, I don't need you,” Hel said seriously. Xyntheia noticed the difference in her voice.

“No! I promise you I won't get hurt,” Xyntheia insisted. Hel raises her brows, like she care if ever you get hurt?

“Whatever, anyway why are you with a monkey,” Hel said without looking behind.

“What did you just said?” Cecillion said who's pissed off.

“Whatever, why are you with a monkey?” Heldrizia repeated.

“Ha! I just saved your ass!”

“I said thank you earlier, right?”

“Ugh! Why do you want to be her friend, Xyn?” Cecillion said to her cousin. Xyntheia just laughed at him and taps his shoulder, “Don't cry, CC,” Xyntheia teased him.

“Theia,” Hel blurted out, the moment Xyntheia heard that Hel called her name, her eyes began to spark. “Yes! Yes?” Xyntheia said cheerfully, she even cling unto Hel's arms and stares at her like a kitten. Cecillion grimace when he saw his cousin being like that, wew.

Hel remains silent as she stare at Xyntheia, Hel is weak against cute creatures, she likes cute things and Xyntheia looks like a cute looking puppy clinging into her. “Theia, marry me,” she said with a serious expression all of a sudden. Xyntheia's eyes sparkles and start nodding like a child, Cecillion immediately grab Xyntheia's hand and puts her behind his back.

“What's with the two of you?” Cecillion said like as if unbelievable things were like to happen.

Hel realized what she just said and fake a cough, “I'm leaving,” she said.

Meanwhile, the two cousins isn't in good term right now. They are arguing about something trivial.

“Waaah! She's leaving, epal mo CC, I'll tell Tres about this.”

“She's asking you to marry her, is she gay?”

“What? No! It mean she likes me, kyaaa!” Xyntheia began screaming like a high school girl being ask out by her crush. Cecillion shakes his head and leave his crazy cousin. Many girls wanted to befriend his cousin but that girl chose a mad one.

Xyntheia waited Hel at the front gate and starts clinging into her like a possessive boyfriend for the past weeks and her probation's been lifted too.

“Theia, do you plan wasting your college life?” Hel asked out of nowhere, Xyntheia looks at her thinking, “What do you mean?” she said confusedly.

“Stop hanging around with me and live a normal life, silly,” Hel said while showing her half smile. Xyntheia was stunned by that half smile and couldn't utter anything, she's screaming inside her mind right now.

‘Aaackkk!! So pretty!!!’

“I've decided,” Xyntheia said firmly. Hel raised her brow, she's looking at Xyntheia who has a very serious and sure expression, what the hell she thinking?

Theia hold Hel's hand and stares at her seriously, “I won't let any man come to you. They have no right to be with you,” she said while nodding.

Well, yeah. She's gone insane.

Hel's staring at her expressionless, she knows that Theia's quite crazy but she didn't know to this extent. What does she mean by that anyway? Hel chuckles which makes Theia astonished, “You're really cute.”

“Hehe, you're flattering me,” Theia said in a baby voice. Hel stopped for a while and started laughing, “What the f**k is that?” she said while laughing so hard. She thinks, that's the first time she ever laugh so genuinely.

Theia smiled so widely, “So you know how to laugh, aaccckkk so cute!”

Meanwhile, outside...

“Bro, you know the devil freshman?” a couple of young man were chattering. Not so far away, there's another man eavesdropping.

“You mean ‘that’ devil? How can I forget brrr,” the other said while trembling.

“Someone from that class said that they saw her laughing along with Cecillion's cousin.”

“What?! That's creepy, better tell Cecillion that his cousin's in danger hahaha!”

“Who's that devil you're talking about?” Zero said.

“Oh right, she's from your class Zero!” the other blurted out.

“Ah, I think I know who's that witch is,” Zero said while smirking. How can he forget those emotionless and apathetic gaze? And they're saying that she's laughing? Ha! As if.

“Why are you calling her devil by the way?” Zero asked.

“Huh? You didn't know the commotion the other day? Damn, bro! It's scary,” they said shivering.

“What happened yesterday?”

“The evil witch fought with the Juniors and a Senior, they're all in the hospital right now!”

“The doctor said the bones were dislocated! Wew, I can't believe she did that, from that day she's called the witch or devil.”

"They said that she's quite ugly and scary, is that true?"

Zero raises his brows, well, she's a witch yes but ugly? He recalled Hel's face, ugh, you call that face ugly? 'W-wait, what am I thinking?'

"Of course, she's very ugly." Zero replied

The eavesdropper stretch his arms, “A devil huh,” he whispers.

“Lucian! Let's go back!” someone shouted, the eavesdropper replied, “Coming!”

Ridiculous gossips regarding Hel drastically reached the whole school. So many gossip and heresy that is about Heldrizia, she didn't utter any words to satisfy their curiosity.

"Hel, what kind of family you came from?" Xyntheia said out of the blue. She's like in a deep thought. Hel puts her hand on her chin and think, she just shrugs her shoulders and said, "I came from a very good family, so good that I don't even wanna go home."

Xyntheia seems shocked to Heldrizia's answer, "OMG. What do you mean? Are you being abused?"

Hel chuckled, "No, that's not what I'm trying to say. Silly." Xyntheia breathes loosely and change the topic, "Anyway, did you know? The Zoldyck's are planning something!" she exclaimed.

Heldrizia's expression suddenly becomes dull, "Zoldyck's huh." She's lost in thoughts, what are they doing? Are they planning to expose her? They've been silent for almost a year, even though Zoldyck's are big shots, they haven't done anything. Zoldyck's are troublemakers, lalo na si Xamantha and Xerxes, those two stupid. Well, uhm, she's counted.

Unlike them, Heldrizia makes troubles and shuts it without the help of the family. She deals with her own problems without dragging the Zoldyck's reputation. In short only few people knows that she came from that wealthy and known family. She leaves the Zoldyck's Estate when she was fourteen and come back a year before today, so of course no one will know.

"Hey! Why are you spacing out? Are you sleepy? Who's with you yesterday huh?" Xyntheia asks consecutively. Hel raises her brows, she's looking at Xyntheia like some kind of insane joke.

"Anywayyyy, so that's it. Kyaaa, I wanna meet Xerxes, they say he's pretty handsome," Xyntheia said while her hands are on her cheeks. Hel grimace, it's weird hearing someone complementing her jerk brother. It's not like it's the first time but it's the first time saying into her face, wew.

"You mean, he look like an asshole," Heldrizia said. Xyntheia look at her with eyes widened, "OMG, don't tell me you know him?!?!!" she exclaimed.

"Ugh, sort of," Heldrizia said halfheartedly And... In an instant they've been surrounded by the girls eavesdropping.

"Oh my, you know him?"

"Kyaaaa, how is he?"

"You have his number?"

"What's his username?"

Before Hel open her non-filtered mouth, the professor came in with an announcement.

"ALL OF YOU PROCEED TO THE GYM!!! REMEMBER TO SHOW RESPECT WHEN YOU SEE THE VISITORS!!! GO."

That's when Hel's world collapse, who knows what will happen next. Heldrizia feels like she doesn't want to move from her seat and just slap those visitors one by one. Are they being sarcastic? They know that she's studying in this university for pete's sake!

"Hey, let's go?" Xyntheia said to her, no choice, Heldrizia stand up and goes with Xyntheia.
