The whole rink went silent for half a second after I finished the drill, then everyone exploded. People stood up clapping like crazy, cheering and whistling so loud it echoed off the walls. I skated to a stop, breathing hard, my cheeks burning. I couldn’t believe it. They actually clapped for me — the wolfless omega nobody thought could even stand on skates without falling.
