Aria’s POV
The bike ride with Kai felt like a rollercoaster from hell. He drove way too fast, swerving and speeding like he was trying to win some race, and he didn’t even let me get ready or hold on right. My stomach was flipping the whole time, and by the time we stopped at school I felt like I was gonna vomit right on the pavement. My legs were shaky when I climbed off.
The second my feet hit the ground I slapped him hard across the face. “Kai, you jerk! You drove like a maniac! I almost threw up all over your stupid bike!”
