Chapter XII

                                                                                Adrian's handcuffs

            Arriving at the Otopeni airport, David noticed since the plane tried to stop, how other planes were ready to receive passengers or ready to take off. He did not know what it was about, so as soon as they got off the plane he asked one of the guards what was happening, and he replied that he was going to Germany.

         - What the hell is in the president's mind? Mihaela asks after she hangs up. How to allow such a thing.

        - What happens? Hook asks.

       - But the Roman authorities have people to go to Germany to collect their culture. Don't they think that such a thing raises your risk of infection in our country when they return?

        - Who knows what's on their minds. Let's not forget that the Illuminati are infiltrating our government and the rest of the world, Hook said. Let's finish the current problem faster and then we'll deal with them.

         - She's right, David said. No one escapes you unpunished.

          Unable to do anything to us, the three quickly leave the airport and get in the car and then go to the headquarters where Helga is waiting for them with the details about the bomb planted in Romania. Until they got to the headquarters, they did their best to keep David as hidden as possible. Adrian knew that he had killed his friend, so it was an advantage for the order of the knights, an advantage that could put an end to this fight with Adrian and the Illuminati organization.

          Helga was waiting for them in the meeting room, where she was looking at the big screen where the mountains of the Romanian country were. She was so focused she still hadn't heard when they came in trembling when Mihaela touched her shoulder.

           - What a scare, Helga said.

           - Sorry, that wasn't the intention. What are you looking at because you're so focused?

           - I told you that Adrian hid one of the bombs here in our country, and so far we have been researching every possible place where he could hide the bomb.

           - And?

           - The only place we were still researching is the mountains in our country. I sent some drones there that can search without alerting citizens.

           - Drone? Hook asks.

           - Yes. Special drones that can detect compounds in an explosive, such as the T.N.T. or C-4….  

          An alarm stops Helga from talking and goes to the computer where she received the results of the drones sent. He soon stops and returns to the three.

         - What happened? David asked.

        - I found the location of the bomb… It seems that the bomb was divided into four and placed in the western, curved and southern Carpathian Mountains.

         - Here you go??

        - And that's the small problem. The other problem is that there is a possibility that we will not be able to stop these bombs from exploding… at least not all of them.

         - Helga, I'm sorry to interrupt. But what's there, said Mihaela, pointing to the monitor.

        - I don't know, said Helga, who had begun typing by zooming in on the primate images from the drones. Looks like there's someone next to the bomb, but I can't say who it is.

        - It's Adrian, David said. He must be. If we move fast we can catch him, even before one of the bombs explodes.

        - Why are you so sure it's him? Hook asks. He may be one of his men.

        - Maybe, but I don't think it's anyone else. Think. He knows I died in China. So there is no reason to hurry, plus there is a possibility that the fourth bomb will already be placed.

        - Yes, but sitting there he knows we'll find him and catch him, Mihaela said.

        - Maybe that's exactly what he wants. Because he has nothing to lose, and if we catch him, he won't tell you where he is until it's too late. Now tell me where he is.

       - It is in the Huba lui Papară cave, located in the Trăscăului mountains. We don't know how much time you have until Adrian detonates your bombs, but if you want to catch him, you have to leave now, Helga said.

          Without thinking, the three of them hurried to the Trascan mountains. This time they were going to get their hands on their enemy and stop the madness. The road to the location was clear and they were able to get there much faster than expected. Arriving near the caves, they noticed that an off-road vehicle was still there, meaning that the individual had not yet left. They headed for the entrance to the cave where to their amazement no one was guarded, which made them much more attentive to what was to come. Entering the cave, everything was quiet, only their footsteps could be heard when they walked wrong, otherwise nothing.

           As they advanced into the cave, the three of them began to hear small noises of metal, but also a small light that seemed to come from one or more torches. When they got close to the room where the noises and light came from, they stopped when they heard a surah of the man standing in front of the bomb, who soon broke the silence.

         - But it's hard to move. That's why you need to force certain things, said the returning man. People today are lazy and need a real leader who…

       - Which one?

       - David? I didn't expect to see you here, and yet I should have known you weren't dead. You're hard to ground.

        - You have nowhere to go now, Hook said on behalf of the knights' order, you're under arrest.

        - Seriously? You and what army?

        - First of all, I don't need an army to catch you, it's just a way out of this cave, and to leave you have to go through us, Hook said.

       - And how do you know I'm alone? Maybe I have an army and you'll be caught.

       - Stop Adrian, David said. You are alone and this time you will not escape, so get on your knees and surrender.

        - Sorry, but that doesn't solve anything for you. In a few minutes the bombs placed in the mountains will explode and neither you nor you will get out of here alive. My people are ready to continue what I started, and tomorrow night the last bomb will clear your planet,

        - Stop the nonsense, David said, pointing the g*n at him. We can do something with bad situations by other methods, not by destruction.

          - Let's say it's like you say… what stops them from coming back in a year or ten and hurting this world, the population again?

           - Because we'll be here to stop them. This time we will not let them do what they want, Mihaela intervenes.

             An inattentive moment from Adrian's goal gives David the opportunity to try to stop him. The two fight, while Mihaela tries to stop the bomb, and Hook was paying attention to her but also to the entrance in case Adrian was going to run away. The fighting lessons he received from his colleague caught David well, but it seemed that their former colleague Adrian had also learned something since he left the knights.

            Their level of fighting far exceeded the struggles of some novice boys, they now looked like the aces in the "Expandable" movies with the fight scenes between Stalone and Van Damme. They both fell to the ground but got up, Adrian tried to "play" murder, taking dust from the ground and throwing it in front of David and then took out the knife trying to cut it.

            But that didn't last, even though he got a cut on his abdomen, in the end he managed to disarm him and break his nose.

            - Hmm ... you learned to fight, Adrian said, wiping his nose.

           - And you too. What would it be like to stop and try to save the world as much as possible.

           - Why save her? For others to destroy it?

           - We won't let him do that. It is time for man to put his foot in the door, to stop these people who only know how to take care of them. Mihaela what is the situation?

           - Almost ready, said Mihaela.

           - I'd advise you not to do anything, just in case you don't want to blow us all up, Adrian said.

           - What do you want to say?

           - All the bombs in the mountains are tied. If one is interrupted incorrectly the rest will explode. This is a water bomb that you can't stop without damage.

           - This is crazy. Many people will die, David said.

          - I have a question. Do you really think I came here alone? Adrian said as he gestured to a man as big and pretentious as Hook. He's Ben and he's taking care of you, and I'm leaving.

         - Not as long as I'm here, Hook said. David you take care of him, and I take care of that.

          Hook and Ben got into a fight while David tried to stop Adrian from running away. Darvid, with the help of his colleague, handcuffed Adrian quickly, but the fight between Hook and Ben was a different story, the bosses bounced off each one and no one showed signs of being oboist or injured.

           Ben lifted Hook up and threw him against a wall, making such loud noises that small pieces of the cave ceiling began to fall. Miahela feared that if the two continued to fight, stones could fall from the ceiling of the cave to detonate the bomb. As they fought, Hook watched as a large piece of stone swayed from the ceiling, then made Ben sit under that piece of stone. He made his opponent think he had knocked him down by knocking him to the ground, but this was Hook's plan, who took a stone from the ground and when the opponent was not careful he threw the stone at the ceiling causing the piece of the ceiling to fall. directly in the opponent's head, which fell to the ground.

             David and Hook immediately immobilized him, after which they went to Mihaela who was next to the bomb. She told them that the only solution was to cut the red thread, and at that moment Adtrian chuckled.

            - What's funny? David asks.

            - I'm not laughing, I'm just enjoying the moment, he said with a smile on his face.

            - Another sound, and you're going to eat through a straw, said Hook, who was breathing a little hard considering the fight he'd had. Mihaela when you're ready cut the thread.

            Mihaela forgot to look again, after which, with her eyes closed, she cut the thread. To their silence, nothing had happened until the clock stopped. They rejoiced and sat down to rest a little. Soon David's phone rang.

            - Are you OK? Helga asks.

            - Yes. We were preparing to drop the bomb and come to headquarters, he said.

            - You mean it didn't explode?

            - Not. But what happened? he asks a little alarmingly.

            - The other bombs exploded. Some of them have done damage, others have not yet, the evacuation of people from those areas is now being done. But how did yours not explode?

           - It's impossible, said Mihaela, who had taken the phone from her hand. I checked many times and that was the only situation where none of them exploded.

            - Bring the bomb here, we'll watch to see what happened.

            David quickly goes to Adrian and grabs him by the neck, raising him in anger.

            - What you did? Tell me?

             - I told you before, this was a situation where you could not win. Helga will probably tell you exactly what happened. in the end, I just asked you to take her to her, said Adrian, who began to laugh.

              Hook, unable to restrain himself, went to him and slapped him so hard that he left him unconscious. No one commented on Hook what he had done because in a way Adrian deserved it. they didn't linger at all and put the bomb in the car but also the two in the car, then they set off. Firefighters, the army, the ambulance and the police were on the streets in different directions in order to help all those affected. What happened was indescribable, and it was all Adrian's fault that he didn't give up on the plan. David thought they had another bomb to find, and if it did that kind of damage, a bigger one, they could all destroy an entire country.

                  As soon as they arrived at the headquarters, the two were taken to the dungeons and Hook helped carry the bomb to the laboratory while David and Mihaela found out about everything that happened in their absence. The situation was much worse than they had imagined.

                  - David, the problem is this. If we don't find the last bomb in time, what you see now is nothing. We don't know where he put it, and the drones don't help us at all. We have to make him talk somehow, otherwise we won't be able to develop leaders in this country.

                  - I know Helga, David said. But how? if he wanted to talk, to say everything he had done so far, but he didn't want to. All that is in his head is to put an end to the evils of the world by such a thing.

                   - He'll make him talk, said Hook, who had entered the door. For what he did, he wishes he hadn't been born. We will put an end to this organization starting with the current situation.

                  - The Illuminati organization has existed for a very long time, it will be difficult for us to put an end to it when others have failed.

                  - That's how Helga is, but this time we'll make it. They didn't have us before, and even if it takes you years to put them down, we won't let them rest.

                  Hook that the others were determined to put an end to the current situation and that as soon as possible. While Adrian was well in prison, his men followed his orders before he was caught, and this was the placement of the last bomb where he could wreak the most havoc.
