Chapter VI

                                                                       The meeting at the Porpeteu statue

                 Albert was at the Hilton Hotel, where he was waiting for one of the group's seniors. While waiting for a coffee and a coffee, an individual in a black coat with a black hat sits next to him. They stared at each other for a few seconds when a waiter came to take the newcomer's order and then Albert broke the silence.

               Vald gets up from the table and leaves, leaving Albert very nervous. Two of them fell to the ground and the other wounded man came out of the restaurant through the window and disappeared.

Arriving at the headquarters, Hook leads Albert in a room while the other two go to give Victor's report. Soon Albert was moved to the interrogation room where Hook and Victor were waiting for him.

          - What you did? Victor asks.

          - I did nothing. He was in the hotel quietly drinking my coffee and the wolves stormed into the restaurant.

             - That's right, Albert said bluntly ...

             When no one paid attention to the m******e at Bran Castle, Vlad had sneaked into the castle and started looking for something, something important to him. Someone knew about him and had hidden plans, and there was only one question in his mind: "Who is he?"

              On Mount Pleașă, near the Vidraru dam in Argeș, there was the statue of Prometheus which was made in 1965, this was the meeting place of the mysterious ticket and Vlad. Vlad was almost an identical copy of the one that once existed and felt when something gloomy fell on the territory. As night fell, Vlad arrived in front of the statue and waited to see who had left his message, but it wasn't long before a person appeared behind the statue who had slipped into his shadow so as not to see his face.

              - Who are you? Vlad asks.

             - You can call me Mr. Smith. And I'm here to help you.

             - I don't need any help.

              - We all need help, especially you. For example, you want to punish those who destroyed the country that your successor Vlad the Impaler left, and I want to make everyone on earth pay for the destruction of this planet.

             -What has the planet got to do with the country?

            - EVERYTHING! You see, even if we stop those in Romania from destroying it, the others will destroy the planet. So what do you say?

            - What's stopping me from pulling your head off your shoulders now? If you want me to trust you, you should come out of the shadows, Vlad said.

            - All at their time. All you have to do is finish Albert's plan and go kill him.

             Vlad immediately went after him behind the statue and found no one, returned to pick up the phone downstairs and went to Corvin Castle where he would wait for Smith's message. At midnight Vlad was near the castle when he received a message that Albert was on the second floor under the castle and that the road was clear. In a short time he snapped his fingers and behind him came six massive wolves and almost as big as him and stormed the castle.

              The wolves broke down the front door without caring about the noise and headed for the basement where they killed two of the guards on the way, one of whom had managed to set off the alarm. The wolves reached Albert before Mihaela or one of the others could reach them, but before they escaped Mihaela and David managed to kill three wolves. David watched them outside and noticed that at the end of the bridge was Vlad who disappeared as soon as the wolves passed him. He turns back and looks for Mihaela who was badly nervous.

           - How the hell did he know where he was? she screamed.

           - I don't know ... but we have a problem. Victor was bitten and taken to the infirmary. Albert?

            - Dead ... they bit him on the neck and separated him from his body, said Mihaela.

            - One way or another, Vlad knew exactly where he was and when to attack, David said. Adrian, where is he?

           - I saw him go with Victor.

           David leaves his colleague to take care of the problem and he also went to Victor. He finds Adrian looking out of a window at Victor. Apparently he was in a serious condition, and Adrian was scared. No one expected them to be attacked at headquarters.

            After a few hours, the doctor comes out and tells them that the patient has been stabilized and must be allowed to rest. Mihaela calls David to show him something on the cameras outside the castle. One of the cameras catches Vlad sitting and looking at a phone and then launching the attack.

           -Do you think we can find out who he's communicating with? David asks.

           - Helga tried but it looks like a prepaid card. Can't be tracked. Either way, I think it's someone inside, because he couldn't know where Albert was.

           - Do you have any idea who he might be?

          - Not for the moment. But as we were on our way to the room, we are excluded. the rest are suspects.

           At sunset, David and Mihaela are called to Victor's room, who had recovered. According to the doctors, his condition was not so good, but enough to have a small discussion with his subordinate. The two told everything they learned after Vlad's attack, but also the fact that the chances of having a traitor among them are increasing more and more. Victor advised him to continue capturing the enemy but also to keep as calm as possible about the traitor.

           - Helga, did you find out the location? Mihaela asks.

           - That's right. Do we have anyone there?

             - I learned from the best, David said. We should see what Victor does…

               With difficulty, David listens to his colleague and goes to rest, leaving everything to her. The sun hadn't even risen well when Helga called the two of them to the computer room. Helga was so agitated that she began to show the dozens of cups of coffee she had drunk in the night to stay awake.

                 David lets him go and tells Helga to send Chris the message and go to rest.
