The pair of siblings managed to pack up all of Charlotte's belongings in less than half an hour, and the apartment felt curiously empty when they were done. Charlotte then placed the access card on the dining table. As they were about to leave, Charlotte and Jack ran into Karis at the front door.
"Ms. Simpson, have you packed up your stuff?" Karis spoke in a polite tone as she took a glance at the luggage that Jack was carrying. However, there was a noticeable change in her attitude towards Charlotte as compared to how it was before.
