The Headache

Scarlett
As soon as I reached home I texted all girls that the football trial is the day after tomorrow. Then I went to tell Rose that.
"Hi, Rose...Just wanted to tell you that trials are there day after tomorrow"
"I will be there" Just as I started to go, "Scarlett wait, I wanted to ask you how you are holding up? before you say you are fine, I know you are not, so tell me the truth"
"YES Rose I am not fine and I know you too are not but bloody hell nobody cares, so we need to get back on track. Anyways I am starting my proper martial art workouts from tomorrow. you want to join?"
" No No No, I don't want to get my ass beaten by you. I will pass" She chuckled and replied.
I giggled and said goodnight and went to my room and took out my diary, in which I wrote occasionally.
Dear diary,
Today was my first day, I said I'm fine, or I'm okay, thanks, about 100 times today, and didn't once mean it. But nobody really could tell, or care to be honest except. I met a guy named William today, we met in a cemetery! He's a nice guy and I hope I get to know him. I have football tryouts day after tomorrow to lead, a party to attend and I work out so, yay!
I shut my journal, set the alarm for 4:30, and shut my lamp light off, "I hope this year can at least be an okay one," I said closing my eyes.

NEXT DAY
This morning I woke up with an acute headache as I could not sleep the entire night because of the numerous nightmares, most of which were about my parents and the night of the accident. Despite the headache, I decided to continue with my workout as I wanted to return to my true self before the accident who was extremely disciplined. I took an aspirin and changed into my workout clothes. By the time I went for a run my headache had reduced, I ran for an hour, and then I practiced some kicks and exercises. I came home, showered, and got ready. By the time I was fully ready, everyone was still sleeping and my headache had returned. I went to Rose's room and decided to wake her up.
"Rose wake up" I shouted in her ears.
"Jesus Scarlet"
Rose
I woke up with Scarlet screaming into my ears. I started to get up, then I noticed scarlet clutching her head painfully. I asked her concerned " What's up sis, you don't look so well".
As always she tried to hide her pain "It's nothing Rose I just have a mild headache, now get ready or we will be late for school"
"No no no, Scarlet you are not going to school, I can see you are in pain"
"I am fine Rose"
"no, you are not"
"I am"
" It's the nightmares again right? and anyways I want to drag you to the party tonight so get well," I said seeing the shadows under her eyes.
She felt taken back by my mention of the nightmares, I knew they were of the night of the accident and "Ya ok" she said giving in.
Scarlett
I must say my headache was getting worse every second. I didn't even bother to eat breakfast, I just laid on my bed, holding my head in my head and instantly fell asleep.
Rose
I got ready and went to check up on Scarlet...she was sleeping restlessly clutching her head. She is very strong, If I had been in the accident, then I wouldn't be able to put up the "I am fine " face and smile as she does.
Still worried about her, I went downstairs to grab my breakfast as Blair was already there. "Where is Scarlet?" May asked.
"Umm she had a headache so I convinced her to stay at home..though it was a very hard task" "Ya, that would be Scarlett," Noah said chuckling.
Then I waved at both of them and went off with Blair.
"Hey, where is Scarlet??"
"She had a headache so I convinced her to stay at home..though it was a very hard task" "Ya, that would be Scarlett," said Blair chuckling.
"ya that's what Noah said"
"But is she going to be ok, is it the nightmares again??" Blair asked concerned
I nodded.

School
In history, William and Mr. Riley went at it with history dates, and William made Mr. Riley look like a fool. He knew every single historical event, how smart.
After the class, William came up to me asked "Hi Rose, I didn't see Scarlett today, is she ok?"
"Umm..actually she is sick so I convinced her to not come to school"
"so, what happened?" he asked concerned
"It's a long story...I can see somebody has a crush, I am going to drag her to the party tonight, you may as well ask her yourself, and here is her number, you know if you can't wait till then" I said teasingly.
He smiled and went away.
The rest of the day was dull and boring...and I was still worried about Scarlett.
When I reached home I saw Scarlett studying.
Scarlett
I had woken up after 2 hours of sleep and my headache had faded by was still slightly there. After waking up I decided not to waste any more time and get to studying. I was not sad to miss school, but I won't lie I was looking forward to seeing him today, anyways I will see him at the party.
I had already studied enough and was going to rest. Rose came into my room.
"Hey Scar, how are you?"
"Yup much better. How was the school, Rose?"
"It was boring without you, anyways William asked why didn't you come to school? I told him you were sick"
I visibly blushed listening to William's name.
Just then I got a text..."Hi William here, how are you? Hoping to see you at the party tonight:)"
I was surprised...I looked up to Rose and said " Rose did you give my number to William??" Rose smiled mischievously and said " I may have and anyways get ready for the party we will be leaving in an hour" "Rose how are we going?" " Blair is picking us up" Ok"
After Rose left I replied to William " I am fine. Thanks for asking, looking forward to seeing you too at the party"
Then I got up and went to get ready for the party.
I wore my usual all black except, decided to exchange my black top with a red one.
Rose and I went outside to see Blair already outside. We hopped in her car, this time I took the front seat.
"Hey, twins! How are you, Scarlett?"
" I am fine Blair, thanks now hurry up we are already late"
" I see somebody is excited"
