Three months later…
I hid inside my cupboard, shivering in fear, and tried to crawl as much deep inside the closet as I can. I was watching from the small keyhole as my mama cried, hitting her chest. I heard the screaming of my mama.
“No! You can't leave me… We have a little daughter… You can't throw me like garbage… Robert, please stop beating me… Please… Don't do this. It's hurting.”
I wanted to comfort my mama from that monster but was too scared to even step out of the closet in which I was hiding.
