The Value Of A Truth

Emily on phone: "Hello Liza, are you free now? OK then lets have dinner together. Ya meet me at our regular meeting place." After a few hours of crying Emily finally washes her face, were a loose shirt, put her hair into a messy bun and starts walking toward the restaurant where she was meeting up with Liza. Liza is the only person in the whole world who cares about Emily, She is a comic book writer and Emily's soul sister with whom Emily can share whatever she wants without thinking. As Emily was walking through the road thinking about whatever happened with her the evening, tears started to flow that's when she saw the man who ruined her life getting out of a museum with a lady. All Emily could think was how to get out of there without him noticing her. She started running as fast as she could and finally Liza was in her sight all of a sudden. Emily hugged Liza tight and cried as hard as she could.

After a few moments she was back to normal as Liza was with her. They started having their dinner together.Liza: "Where is your phone? I tried calling you when I reached here but you didn't attend it." Emily: "My phone is with me......oh shoot I guess I must have dropped it when I was running to you." That when Liza gets a call. Liza: "Hello? Yes.....yes she is with me, just a minute please hold on." She shows Emily her phone and tells her that this call is for her. Emily is a bit surprised but not so excited due to her situation. Emily: "Hello ! Yea this is Emily Parker, Oh yes sir this is the alternative number I have filled. Sorry sir actually I lost my phone. Thank you so much sir, yes sir I will be there correct at 10 am." Liza looks at Emily surprised as Emily looked extremely happy. Emily tells her that the call was from a big company and that they called her for an interview.

Emily is finally in her bed ready to sleep all excited for her interview. She has prepared everything and it is 100% sure that she will be selected. Next morning..... Emily is all ready wearing her formal clothes. She finally reached the company, it is indeed really big and getting a job here means she will be able to pay her due rent and finish her loan payments too. The interview has started, Emily is on her seat and in front of her are two men but she can only see one man's face as the other one was holding her resume file in front of his face. The man whose face Emily could see smiled very pleasantly and introduced himself. Man 1 (Mr. Park): "Hi Miss Emily, I am Mr. Park and this is our CEO Mr. Alan." Me. Alan: "So why did you leave the company you worked in before?" Emily: "Well sir I left so I could join here, as this company is big and I will be able to learn a lot of new lessons of my life here and not only that i was not being paid. I haven't received my salary from 3 months.." Alan: "You do not qualify my needs, you can go!" Then he removed her resume to show his fame to Emily. Emily was shocked as the CEO was the guy who ruined her life. Alan: "Miss Emily, I hate lies and I only keep people who don't lie in my company, the door is to your right. You can go now."

Emily gets up quietly and leaves without saying a word. While walking home her eyes starts to fill. Emily to herself: "What is going on in my life? Why is it suddenly changing like this? My life is ruined, I have no job, no boyfriend and no money to even pay the rent or to go for shopping.
