Chapter2

One week had passed and victory forgot about Armstrong, on his way home after his shift, and he noticed the path he always takes was too quiet. He did not think much of it. He put on his headphones and was listening to a slow, unbelievable song, and suddenly he felt like someone was watching him and following him. He increased his steps and tried running, only to be welcomed by flashlights and five cars surrounded him for a while. He was confused and looking for a way to escape from there. Then I felt a very strong pheromone which smelled like the forest and I looked up only to see the guy I saved one week ago. He was dressed in black and wore gloves which hid his fingers and his hairstyle, making him look more attractive. Then he approached me and stared as if he wanted to devour me. I saw an opening and tried to run, but I was caught by Armstrong. “Going somewhere?” he asked with a stern face. “That is none of your business,” I said. “That is harsh, “he said with a smirk. He made a hand gesture asking the bodyguards to leave us alone. They went ahead a little to give us enough space. Then Armstrong made a gesture for me to enter his car. I did not want to, but I felt if I said no he would shove myself in his car. “What do you want?” I asked in a stern voice. “You,” he said while smiling. “I don’t owe you any money and I don’t have money.” The car was silent for a while before Armstrong busted out and was seriously laughing and looking at me with curiosity. “So you think I am here for money?” he said while laughing. “Get straight to the point.” “Let’s get married,” he said with a smile. I looked at him and asked myself if he was normal. I saved him last week. Instead of him giving me money as compensation, he's asking me to marry him. This guy wants something, and I am not giving him what he wants. “If you are looking for a f**k boy, that is not me,” I said angrily. “I will not marry you.” Armstrong looked at me without saying anything and pined me down and whispered; “Nobody says no to me,” he said while leaning towards me. “Then I will be the first to say no.” Before I noticed Armstrong kissing me, I tried to escape, but he realized his pheromones to slow me down. His pheromones make him crazy, and I don’t like this. I should escape before my heat starts. I used my last power and pushed Armstrong away, opened the car and ran off. I arrived at my door, I opened the door and ran towards my cupboard to look for my inhibitors. This bastard triggered my heat and knew I needed to call sick. I cannot work around spreading my pheromones. I sat on my bed and emailed the manager of the company I work for. Then I dozed off. The next morning, I woke up by the sound of the bell and, with sleep in my eyes, I checked it was my best friend. He looked at me with a smile. He entered and went straight to the kitchen, making a sandwich just the way I liked. “Feeling better?” he asked with a smile. “Yeah, much better,” I said. Suddenly, the room was quiet for a while and suddenly a luxury car parked in front of my door. I looked at Edward. Using my eyes, I asked if he asked his guards to take his car. Then the doorbell rang and piped to see who it was, and the guest was Armstrong. Great, my day is ruined. Before I could snap out of my thoughts, he banged the door and I opened with rage. “What?” I asked shouting. “Hello baby, good morning,” he said with a smile. “What do you want?” “What feisty way to greet your husband.” Before I knew it, he was already inside, and he made himself comfortable, and he scanned the surroundings and his gaze met with Edward. I don’t know if they knew each other. The tension was crazy. “Baby, who is this?” “And who are you?” Edward asked. “I am his spouse,” he said with a smirk. “Victory who is he?” “The guy I saved, and he is not my husband.” “Baby, we have a date tomorrow. I will pick you up.” Pecking my forehead and loving. The living room was silent, and I could feel Edwards' anger. I sat down on the coach, and he was monitoring me with his gaze. “Speak” “Victory that guy is dangerous and since when are you engaged?” “Edward, I am not engaged, I don’t like him.” Edward had an idea. He asked me to explain the situation to my parents and they might have a solution. I thought about going into my shabby room and parking my belongings and leaving with Edward. We arrived at my parents', and Edward refused to come in because he had something urgent to do. My mum was so happy to see me. We had dinner and I explained everything to my parents, the room was silent, and my father asked not to go back to my apartment for the moment. My mum changed the subject, and we finished our dinner and I headed to my old room. The next morning, I did not go, so I woke up to assist mum. We finished on time, we had breakfast and suddenly a luxury car appeared, and it was Edwards’s family. My dad was surprised and he welcomed them in. Everybody was settled in the living room and Edwards’s father spoke up. “Victory, how are you?” he asked in a serious tone. “I am fine sir”. “Edward told us someone is harassing you.” “Yes sir,” I replied with my face down. “That guy is very dangerous, and we have a solution.” “Edward is going to be your husband," he said with a smile. Then the room was silent.
