CHAPTER FIVE: Peter's Weird behavior

Tiffany got to the library and Justin followed shortly. She was really upset with Justin for wasting her time. Justin could feel the rage oozing from her body. "Hey, I'm sorry for what you saw". "Oh really, did I ask for us to meet or am I the one who's got an assignment to do huh? so what the hell is your problem? you're not ready to do your work so why should you waste my time by making me wait here while you make out with your hoes?. Tiffany asked. "I said I'm sorry, can we start now? I should have told you the exact time we'll meet." "whatever ". Tiffany muttered. " let's begin, and by the way this is your jacket ladies lover". Tiffany said with sarcasm. " Are you always this sarcastic huh? I can tell you really hate my guts." " you wouldn't be treated this way by me if you weren't an asshole and a jerk". Tiffany said as she diverted her attention to the book she was holding.

Justin was staring at her silently enough for her not to notice. He admitted in his mind that Tiffany was indeed a beauty, he was marvelling at her facial features especially her round blue eyes like that of Alexandra daddario's. she had full lips, olive skin tone, bunny teeth like Ariana Grande's. Her thick black hair complimented her skin tone . Justin didn't notice when he held her hair up to his nose and sniffed it. " What was that, why are you holding my hair, Justin?". " Oh, I.... ehhm I just wanted to confirm, I think I saw something like a paper in your hair". " Nevermind, let's get down to business, do you want me to just tell you the answers or should I explain it to you so that you'll answer it afterwards?" Tiffany asked . " I prefer you to explain it to me and I'll answer it afterwards ". Justin answered. "okay let's start "

After they were done, Justin insisted on driving Tiffany home even though she insisted on calling her driver. She finally gave in . on their way out of the library, Tiffany met Peter standing on the way. " Hi Tiffany". " oh hi Peter! Justin, can you wait for me at your car I'll be there shortly". "okay feisty". Justin said with a smirk. he didn't fail to notice the irritation written on Peter's face. "What kept you so long in the library huh?, it was just an assignment " Peter said angrily. " What's up with the question you asked Peter, an how did you know I was in the library with Justin are you stalking me or what?". " It doesn't matter Tiffany, I don't want you to get close to that dude okay". oh really and since when did you start having the audacity to tell me who I get close to huh? the last time I checked you and I are not even close friends. Now please excuse me someone is waiting for me ". Tiffany said angrily and stormed away. After she left, Peter started hitting his head on a wall saying " Tiffany, you can only be mine".

Justin was waiting at his car when he finally saw Tiffany coming. "Hope you had a great time with your boyfriend feisty". "Oh drop that, I barely know Peter, he recently joined us like you." "But I could sense jealousy when he saw us". " Trust me Justin, he and I just became Study Partners so that he can catch up with the class and nothing else ". Well what I can say is, that friend of yours looks creepy to me so be careful". oh come on he's just a normal guy like you but he doesn't f**k every girl he encounters like you." Justin was now smiling and Tiffany asked. "what's up with the smile?". " you and I just spoke to each other normally, and I am happy that we're starting to get along". The drive to Tiffany home was silent and when they finally reached, Justin waved at her before speeding away.

When Justin reached home, he saw his dad Mr Jack sitting in the garden. "Hi dad". "Hi son, how is your new school? hope you liked it and have already met new friends?" "well I think I like the atmosphere in the school, everyone is cool and it's bully-free. I have not met New Friends, I have only Joseph and Tiffany, she's helping me understand and do the assignments I have missed " Justin said. "Tiffany! I think the name sounds familiar " Mr Jack said. "Well yeah, I think you are business partners with her dad, he's Mr Gerald Wilson " Justin reminded his dad. " oh that rings the bell now, actually, we were looking forward to you guys meeting someday" Mr Jack said raising an eyebrow to see Justin's reaction. "we've met already" Justin said. Try to get along with her son, I can tell she's a very good girl from how dad talks about her and she's got the looks too " Mr Jack said with a wink. Justin smiled and walked into the house.

Next day at school Tiffany was at her locker when Peter approached her. "Good morning Fanny". " oh, Good morning Peter" Tiffany said and tried to get away but Peter held her hand, " Let's talk for a bit Fanny" Tiffany felt that Peter was being a creep as she noticed a bruise on his forehead. "what happened to you"? Tiffany asked out of curiosity. " I fell in the shower last night" Peter said. " oh really! Tiffany said not buying Peter's words but she shrugged it off. "Tiffany, I'm sorry about what I said yesterday, I was just trying to protect my friend from getting hurt by that jerk " Peter said. "There's nothing between Justin and I we just met yesterday so there's no need to protect me, I'm a grown up I can take care of myself ". Tiffany firmly stated.

" Alright, so are we cool now Fanny"? Peter asked. "Yes we are" Tiffany agreed. " so can we meet today for studies at the library"? Peter asked. "well, yeah I don't have any problem with that". "May I go now, I want to see my friends before it's time for class". Tiffany didn't wait for Peter's reply.

After chatting a little bit with Sophie and Vanessa, it was finally time for class. Tiffany said goodbye to her friends and went for Engineering mathematics class she met Justin and they said Hi to each other. When it was time for lunch, Tiffany, Sophie and Vanessa were at their table while Joseph and Justin were also at another table but Justin's eyes were fixated on Tiffany. Joseph realizing where his friend's eyes were asked; "Man, what's up with the starring, I hope it's not what I'm thinking that your ass has been whooped by Tiffany"? "Oh, it's not I just find her intriguing and also hard headed. you know, she's different from all the girls I have encountered". Justin said. " you better not think of getting your hands on her unless you're going to take her seriously else Mr Gerald Wilson will send you directly to hell to meet Lucifer ". Joseph said tapping on Justin's shoulder. " I don't have any I'll intentions towards her, I only want to get to know her more" Justin stated firmly. Justin stood up with his food and walked Tiffany's table. "hello everyone, may I join you guys "? he asked politely. Sophie and Vanessa quickly responded. "yes!" Justin Sat beside Tiffany who was now self conscious.

After lunch, Justin walked with Tiffany to class. "Feisty, can I have a word with you"? "sure, why not " "can we be friends and put aside our differences "? "Justin asked and waited anxiously for Tiffany's answer. " I'm cool with that, Justin". Tiffany said "okay then, Justin Milano" Justin said as he extended his hands to Tiffany. " Tiffany Wilson" Tiffany said as she shook Justin's large hand.
