CHAPTER THREE: Study Partners

After the party was over, it was already Monday again. The school was flooded with students discussing about the fun they had at the party. when it was lunchtime Tiffany and her friends were at a table chatting and eating their lunch when Peter came by "Hey!, do you mind me eating my lunch with you guys " "oh absolutely not, you can join us " Tiffany said. "okay, let me just go and grab my lunch. I'll be back". when he left Vanessa and Sophie were both looking at Tiffany suspiciously with smirks. " why are you guys looking at me like that huh". " Don't tell us you've got something going on between you and Peter and you didn't even think of telling us awww" Sophie said. " Don't jump into conclusions guys, Peter only asked me to be friends with him and I agreed to his request that's all and nothing attached. besides I'm not ready for any relationship now so don't even think I'll have anything to do with him". but I think he likes you Fanny with the way he stares at you" Vanessa said. "Guys Peter is approaching. Joseph will be coming to school tomorrow" Sophie said happily. " Vanessa, I think Joseph has charmed our friend hahaha". " I'm back girls " Peter said and the girls ended their chit chat. Tiffany introduced Peter to her friends and then her friends to Peter. After their lunch they went to their various classes. Vanessa went for biology class since she wanted to be a nurse, Sophie on the other hand wanted to be a model so she had arts class. Tiffany and Peter happened to have thermodynamics together. " Do you also have thermodynamics class with me "? Tiffany asked Peter. she was puzzled. she was sure Peter was not in her class. " oh yeah I swapped from health to engineering ". " oh that explains why you're not familiar ". " I have always wanted engineering but for personal reasons I was temporarily in the health class, my dad wants me to be a doctor but I love engineering. He made me join the health but I found it difficult to understand anything there, it took a lot of pleading and him seeing me constantly failing most of the courses he finally agreed for me to swap though my graduation will be delayed by a year or two depending on my performance." " Aww that's so sad, well at least the good thing is that he allowed you to swap else there will have been a disaster. you have a lot of catching up to do Peter " " Yeah I know Tiffany and I'll be grateful if you could help me out , I mean if you could tutor me on what I have missed ". Tiffany was about to respond when the teacher walked in . "let's discuss that when we close Peter".

"Good afternoon class", The teacher greeted and all the students responded in unison. "Well, I hope you have all submitted your assignments. I'm giving anyone who has not submitted yet to bring it before I step my foot out of this class except for peter who recently joined us. " Peter can you come forward and introduce yourself to the class and I"?

" Hi, my name is Peter blakes, it's nice meeting you all" "Hi Peter", the whole class responded. " "Now you can go and sit down Peter and for you your assignment is expected to be submitted in four days". "Thank you sir " " so back to business class, Today we'll be discussing "Thermodynamic processes"and I hope everyone has learnt something about it beforehand." Let me test your knowledge on the topic so that I'll know where to start" Mr Waldo said. He started throwing questions to the students and the they answered quite well.

After the class ended Tiffany met her friends and they walked towards the school football field; their school had a match with another school from New York. On their way to the field, they encountered Peter." Hey girls!. " Hi Peter". Can I speak to you, Tiffany? " Vanessa and Sophie, I'll catch up with you guys after I see Peter, so you should go ". " Tiffany, about my studies, we agreed to discuss it after class, that's what I wanted to talk about, Can you help me out with my studies? I'll be really excited and grateful if you do, I hope you are not too busy for that ". " oh no , I don't mind it's just that I don't trust my way of tutoring I don't know if you will be able to understand and besides I'm not sure if I'm that good " " oh no Tiffany, come on you're perfect and everyone in the class knows you're the best student. And don't worry if you are gonna help me everything will be in your terms, you don't have to find me I'll be the one to find you.

"well then I'm in Peter, so we can use the library and also our homes you can come over to my place. Also I have a tutor maybe he can also help". " oh it's okay, I only need a study partner that's all I think that will be okay for me to be able to catch up. Thanks Tiffany". " oh don't thank me, this is mutual as we'll all benefit from it." The games are about to start let's head towards the field." " okay Peter but first, I need to go to the washroom so you can go I'll catch up with you later ". " well then see you Fanny "

After finishing her business in the washroom, Tiffany was going to the field when she bumped into something. " what the fu...... she couldn't finish her curse when she realized what she bumped into. It was Justin Milano, the famous son of business tycoon and also a playboy. Tiffany was wondering what he was doing in her school then she remembered that their school had a football match with them. She stared at him and then a frown appeared on her face when she remembered that Justin was a playboy. " is it that you can't see or you wore glasses that are made of wood huh"? Justin's jaw dropped when he heard what Tiffany said. It was the first time a girl didn't drool over him and also didn't try to flirt with him. Justin was a very handsome looking guy. His features were like that of Zayn Malik and that's what always swept girls off their feet, but he didn't receive such reactions from Tiffany.

" I was actually looking for the men's washroom" " And do I look like someone who directs people to the washroom, huh? Tiffany said sarcastically. " Could you show some respect Miss? As you can see it's you and I only here so I can actually do something to you, do you know that"? Justin said as he stepped towards Tiffany and she stepped backwards till she was trapped between a wall and Justin. "Don't come any closer, else I'm gonna scream." " oh you can scream and let's see who will hear your screams when everyone is in the field with all this loud speaker talking " Justin said with a smirk knowing that he was able to intimidate her. "You're such an asshole" Tiffany said as she pushed Justin by the chest and tried to get out of his grip. she was running when Justin held her by the waist and pulled her back. " where are you running to ,I thought you were a tigress and by the way your dress is stained" Justin then tied his jacket around Tiffany's waist to cover her blood stain. she ran as fast as her legs could carry her.
