"You disgrace of a son! I told you to capture Mikael's son and yet you lost to the Fang's?"

"Father I was already about to capture Vix but Cane intervened. He took him away and now Vix is in his grasp more specifically in his mansion protected by both Mikael's men and Cane's men and friends."

"And this is why you are such a disgrace! You already had him back then but you let him go, now look who's got him!! We can't simply march into the Fang's territory to get him. Right now Vix is protected by both his father and Cane the next heir to the Fang Clan. Now I'm giving you another chance. Figure it out on how you will get Mikael's son here by any means as long as he's still alive."

Nicolas received another hard slap from his father who's fuming mad. If people can explode from too much anger his father would've already did earlier. His body is already full of bruises and open wounds due to his father treating him like a punching bag.

"Get out of my sight before I do something that I might regret later on."

Nicolas didn't waste a minute to disappear from his father's sight. He knew how bad and deadly his father can get when he’s angry. He can hurt anyone even if it's a family member. Limping his way to his room Nicolas made sure to lock it before heading to his bathroom.

He needed to clean his new wounds and to ease the pain from his new formed bruises both on his side and face. His father was a very brutal man. He shows no mercy even if it's his own son. The reason why his after Vix his ex is because of a treasure that his mother had inherited.

Vix's mother came from a family of assassins. Her clan was a very strong one. It's filled with highly trained assassins, ninjas, samurais, killers, and many more. Their clan was also special for they had a secret technique. It was a technique passed down from each generation. The technique itself is unknown to all for only a few from Vix's mother's clan knows about it.

And the reason why Vix's mother was killed was because of this. She was the next in line to hide the treasure and protect it. But alas when they tried to get information from her she never gave them any so his father killed her.

The reason why Nicolas also broke up with Vix is because of this. He wanted to protect Vix from his father but it seems that he can't do it on his own. The treasure his father is after isn't only carrying the secret technique but also a huge chest full of gold and diamonds. Any person to get a hold of this treasure will live a life of luxury till they die.

"I need to warn Vix about this. My father can't get his hands on him or else he'll be killed!"

Nicolas slowly said as he stood up from the tub full of water which is now red in color from his wounds. With a tired sigh he quickly changed into comfortable clothes right after tending to his wounds. With his weapons on him he headed off making sure no one saw him leaving.

He has to warn not only Vix but also Cane. If can maybe he can form an alliance with them just until they can figure out how to defeat his father. Or kill him since he knows that his father is also on Vix's target list.

Nicolas secretly stole his brother's favorite bike before going off unto the cold, dark and quite road. When he was already in a great distance from his house he finally notice the three motorcycles that are after him.

He knew that his father knows about him leaving and sent his men to follow him. His father doesn't trust him enough now after failing a few times already. His brother Ian on the other hand is his father's favorite child and Qing his brother's girlfriend is his father's favorite daughter-in-law. He was more like an outcast than a son to his father. Always saying that he's a failure, an unwanted addition to his family. Which is the truth.

His father only wanted a son but his mother gave birth to two sons. His older brother Ian and him. At a young age his father already showed his dislikes towards him. He would give Ian anything while he has to earn it if he wants it.

He had a really rough life. He didn't get enough love from his father nor his mother who also grew to dislike him when his father started to beat her up. There are a lot of times already where Nicolas wanted to end his life but that all vanished when he met Vix.

The two of them became lovers. He finally felt love but that was all ruined after his father began favoring him. He knew that something was wrong and he was right when his father explained the reason why he is happy. And it was all because the person his father was after was now in their hands. His father was after Vix and so he had to do something to protect Vix.

And that led them to breaking up with each other. He knew that he had hurt Vix badly but all he cares at that time was his safety. And now his risking his life once again to save his ex lover's life from his father's malicious intent.

With a new found determination Nicolas sped up. He made sure to lose all three of them before going to Cane's mansion. He wanted to give them a heads up as soon as possible. This will give them time to prepare for what's to come.

He made his way into the busy streets of the city. Zooming passed cars, trucks and other vehicles as he successfully lost all three of the men following. With how much cars and other motorcycles are in the area he was sure that those three will get confused with who to follow. But for safety measured he had to make sure his not being followed so he decided to abandon his brother's bike and also removed his clothes except for his weapons. He changed into a more comfortable clothes which he decided to buy in a nearby shop before taking a taxi towards Cane's mansion.

He had to avoid being tracked down which will endanger both his and Vix's life even more. He has to stay focus and make it to Cane's house to deliver his message. This is what he promised to do for breaking Vix's heart and trust. At least he can compensate by saving Vix’s life from his crazy father.
