Vix groaned in pain. His whole body was aching and he couldn't even move.
Looking around he found himself in a hospital bed, chains were restraining him as a few of his father's guard watch him closely. On the left side was a sofa where Cane was sleeping.
Vix let out a sigh of relief once he saw Cane looking fine. He was truly scared earlier when he thought the guy was telling the truth. He thought Cane was injured or worse dead. This very thought made him lose himself and let his inner demon out.
"What happened?" He asked one of the guards with a raspy voice. They didn't answer him but one left to probably call someone.
