2 weeks had passed by before Vix's wounds fully healed. In those two weeks he and Cane had gotten closer. The other was always caring and watching out for him. Though silently.

Cane would always make sure that he is okay and would always make sure that he isn't uncomfortable. He would also dress his wounds up and check from time to time.

The two of them also got to know each other. They found out a lot about each other like what they like and dislike. Favorite food and many more. All except their purpose on being killers were found out. They actually had a lot in common minus the foods.

It's also been two days since Justin and Ethan found out about Vix. Both weren't surprise nor angry though instead they were happy that Cane is talking a lot now. Right now Cane is out with Ethan leaving Justin to watched over Vix.

And since Cane is away, Justin decided to interrogate Vix, the perfect tie to know more.

"So Vix tell me more about yourself. I'm sure there's a reason on why Cane is unable to kill you."

"I already told you about myself. How about you tell me about yourself and why you're so surprise that Cane is talking a lot."

“No, I asked first. “

“Yes you asked first and I answered you.”

“Telling me your code name and age isn’t actually telling more about yourself.”

“Well we both know that our real identities are a secret. All you guys know is that I am the son of Mikael Locke, the only heir to his richest but nothing more. And as far as I know you are a genius hacker and friend of Cane nothing more.”

“Alright. I guess there’s no need to asked each other. But I can tell you a bit about my past with Cane.” Justin sighed.

Vix smiled and gave Justin a challenging look and the latter let out a chuckle before nodding. Justin was clearly amused with how Vix was being so calm and all especially when his in the presence of two assassins who can kill him in a blink of an eye.

"Alright where should I start? Oh as you've already known I practically knew Cane ever since we were kids. At that time he was a very great kid till everything changed. His father started being strict to him and making him emotionless. So as years passed the Cane I once knew was gone and was replaced by a man who's cold hearted and has no mercy at all. And knowing my friend I was surprised on why he didn't kill you. As you know he has a reputation and already killed a lot of his father's enemy. And the reason why I'm so surprised about Cane talking a lot is that a few weeks ago he barely talks. He only talks to me with a one word answer or only a few words. I've never seen or heard him talk so much. And knowing the reason for him talking so much happened to be a guy he was suppose to kill….. who wouldn't be surprise."

Vix listened carefully to what Justin was saying. He thought that Cane is already a talkative guy but turns out he was a silent one. Well… before he met him.

"Now why does he talk a lot when it comes to me?" Vix asked with raised eyebrow.

"Something in you must've caught Cane’s attention. Or he must've fallen in love with you which clearly isn't new.” Justin teased while wriggling his eyebrows. “Many assassins already quit after finding the person they will hopefully spend there forever with. But in Cane’s case he can't just quit. He's the next in line to be the leader of his Clan so his father won't allow him to quit."

"Wow you guys sure are such a complicated bunch."

The two immediately stopped talking when they heard a few gunshots outside. Justin quickly stood up, loaded his gun and slowly peak into the window. It broke into pieces when someone tried to shoot him.

"What's going on?" Vix said as he gripped his sword tightly.

"Be quiet and stay low. Cane is outside fighting with some men in black."

Vix listened to what Justin said even though he didn't want to. And he couldn’t really show himself so casually since he had agreed with Cane’s plan.

"I can help, you know?" Vix said with sarcasm.

"Are you good at shooting from a far?" Justin asked while trying to help Cane and Ethan who was having a bit of a hard time fighting the men in black.

Vix rolled his eyes before standing up and going to stand beside Justin . He took a peak at the now broken window before answering.

"Yup"

"Great here take this and shoot the enemies that are hiding from afar. I'll go help Cane and Ethan out while you back us up. And don't try anything funny, got it?"

"Yeah, yeah I won't now shoo." With a sniper in hand Vix decided to move to another window which is a bit far from the broken window. He positioned himself before locking on his first target.

A guy wearing a mask right at the rooftop of another apartment building. With great timing and accuracy he shot the guy right in between his eyebrows. A few shots and the rest of the guys in hiding are all dead. All due to a straight shot in the head.

"Holy shit."

Vix snickered as he heard Justin curse. A few more gunshots were heard before Cane, Ethan and Justin went back inside.

"Now that was cool. Vix your shots were so accurate that they are all a hit on the head." Justin exclaimed as he took a sit on the small couch.

"Well I tend to make a quick kill so a shot on the head will do or in the heart."

Cane silently watch Vix and Justin talked. He suddenly feels something weird inside him, like he wants to rip Justin apart for being so friendly with Vix.

"Anyways those guys are after Vix. We can't stay here any longer. Justin contact Noah and proceed as planned. I'll sneak Vix in to make sure no one sees him."

Justin had a look of awe in his face as he watch Cane talk a lot. And it's all because of Vix.

"I have a better idea. Why don't we make Vix dress as a girl, it would be less suspicious and beside he already looks like a girl."

After debating for a while Cane agreed and so Vix was sent to a salon where he was transformed into a beautiful girl. Vix was actually wearing a dress exposing his long creamy legs. The dress hugged his curves in all the right places making him look more feminine.

What made it more believable was the long black wig he was wearing. After going out of the salon Vix already got a few guy’s eyes on him. The looks given to him are of either pure awe or lust.

Even girls they passed by couldn't help but get jealous with his looks. While Cane though his face was blank his eyes held something in them. He stood closely beside Vix making it look like they were a couple.
