CHAPTER THIRTY EIGHT “What do you mean he’s not here?” Chris bellowed, glaring at the gentlemen gathered in the richly decorated parlor. “What kind of host walks out on his own party?” He was furious. They’d followed Oliver’s lead all this way to discover he’d left, and now it turned out the master of the house wasn’t here either!
