CHAPTER TWENTY ONE Riley and Bill were sitting in the local police station conference room, listening to Lucy and her team debrief them about their canvassing effort. Riley was disappointed that they hadn’t brought in any suspects. “Did you check everywhere you could?” Riley asked. “More than a hundred residences in all,” Lucy said. “Everything in the area where Jason Cahill says he hit Meara Keagan.” “You didn’t come across anyone suspicious?” Riley asked.
