CHAPTER TWENTY EIGHT When the interview with Wyatt Ehrhardt and his aide ended, a cop met Riley and the other participants outside the room. He looked extremely worried. “We’ve got a problem—and a big one,” he said. “There are reporters waiting outside.” Riley’s spirits sank. Several cops formed a makeshift guard unit around Ehrhardt and Rhonda and ushered them through a door at the back of the building. In a few minutes, the worried cop returned. “That worked okay,” he said. “We just rushed them straight out of the building, and their limo was waiting out back.
