I didn’t know why the boy is spouting nonsense and seemed to enjoy this situation. I guess kids these days must have gone crazy from the pressure and exposure to the cruel world.
It makes it easier for me anyway as he is baiting all the kobolds toward him. Well as a token of thanks, I guess I will kill the kobold so it won’t hurt him.
It isn’t really a token of thanks since I will kill the kobold regardless that he is here or not.
It didn’t take long before I kill all of the kobolds inside the dungeon. After I kill the last one, a dungeon rewards chest appeared along with the exit. I took the 5 gold coins; a piece of equipment and another common skill book out of it. After that, I exited the dungeon. The boy also transported to the dungeon entrance after that.

“Jacky! Jacky! Look at that!”
“What is it, Boris? You’re so old already. Aren’t you embarrassed acting like that?”
“Just take a look and you’ll understand why I’m like this.”
“Kuhk! That boy! How can he survive the dungeon?”
“I don’t know either Jacky. I didn’t see any party coming out or coming in after that boy. Do you think it is possible for a 10 years old boy to clear the dungeon alone?”
“It should be impossible but that boy clearly survived.”
While Boris and Jacky were flabbergasted, a woman in her late thirty come near the dungeon entrance as she has a worried look on her face. She was looking around looking for something and when she saw the boy, she immediately runs to him and hugged him.
“Toby! I’m almost died because of worry. I and your father have been looking for you all this time. How can you sneak out of the house without telling anyone? Not to mention you’re now near the dungeon entrance. What will we do if something happens to you?”
The woman was left in tears as she hugged the boy.
“Mom, you worry too much. See, right now I am back in one piece. Nothing bad is going to happen to me. I already tell you that I am super duper powerful and mega ultra-amazing.”
The boy bragged to his mother but it didn’t stop her from crying. She knows her son the best. It was impossible that her son is actually a powerful person. After all, he still wet his bed and ask for a company before going to the bed.
“Toby, it’s good that you’re alright. Please promise me to not make me worry again. You are not allowed to come near the dungeon. Not to mention entering it.”
“But mom, I just come inside the dungeon and come out unscathed.”
Hearing what the boy said, the woman cried even louder.
“How can you enter the dungeon? Here, let mommy look at you. Did you get hurt somewhere?”
“Mom! I tell you that I’m alright!”
“Don’t lie to me. You have to follow me back home right away. You will not get any pocket money for 3 months.”
“Mom!”
The mother then dragged the boy away from the dungeon entrance while Boris and Jacky are looking at each other.
“Boris, do you think it was possible for a boy to come out alone of the kobold dungeon safe and sound?”
“Jacky, if it wasn’t a dream then I think that boy is a ghost.”
“How can ghosts exist?”
“Even monsters exists, how can you say that ghost didn’t exist?”
“That make sense but for sure that boy is a human.”
“Then I think there’s something fishy about the boy.”
“Are you sure that it wasn’t the dungeon that has a problem?”
Boris and Jacky were left in thoughts but they couldn’t make head or tails about the current situation.
“Should we follow the boy or we stay here?”
“Let’s follow the boy. Let’s see if he will tell us what happened inside the dungeon.”

*knock knock*
Toby’s mother just arrived back at home and make a call to her husband before someone knocking on the door.
She opened the door and surprised to see two men standing outside. One was muscular like a bodybuilder, the other was skinny; even skinnier than a model. The muscular one is Boris and the skinny one is Jacky.
Jacky is the one who greeted Toby’s mother as he is the one who always handles the negotiation for the two of them.
“Good evening madam. Sorry to intrude this late at night. We have heard a report that your son just comes out from the dungeon. May we have some words with him?”
Toby’s mother feels that something is wrong but she couldn’t tell what it was. She also wanted to hear the explanation from Toby but she didn’t believe that he entered the dungeon at first. But now after getting confirmation from Jacky, it might be better to have the two men accompanying her to listen to Toby’s story. After all, she was oblivious to the dungeons while Jacky and Boris seemed to be experienced.
Toby’s mother let the two men in and they sit down at the dining table with Toby and her mother.
“Firstly madam, we’re sorry because of the lack of manpower from the guilds and government, E rank dungeon and below usually isn’t guarded and monitored regularly. That is also why your child was able to sneak in. Normal civilians usually didn’t get inside the dungeon unless they are seeking death. It was truly God’s blessing that your child managed to escape unscathed.”
Toby’s mother feels scared and also relieved at the same time that Toby is able to come home in one piece. She was sending a glare at Toby but he seemed to not care about it.
“So, Toby, can you first tell us why you enter the dungeon?”
Toby knows that the two men in front of him have entered the dungeon before and have deep knowledge, unlike his mother. That is why he is willing to explain the story to Jacky and Boris.
“I am entering the dungeon to release my inner self.”
The three of them who were there were taken aback by his answer. They didn’t think it was for something like an eighth-grade syndrome.
“So, what is your inner self?”
“A former demon lords.”
Hearing the answer, Boris and Jacky know that there is no way that this boy is able to clear the kobold dungeon alone.
“Can you tell me what happened inside?”
“When I was inside, most of the kobold is already dead due to my passive killing aura. They are dead because they bear malicious intentions to me. Their death is all the same, by a clean incision in the middle of their forehead. I believe that is because my aura detected their intention and deal a sharp cut into their brain.”
Boris and Jacky are now lost deep in thoughts. There is no way that it is because of this boy killing aura. There must be someone skilled enough to enter the dungeon and kill the kobold in one blow. The first problem is they didn’t saw anyone entering. The second problem, the person in question’s skill should be really high to be able to cleanly kill the goblin. Not to mention that they died in the same way.
“So, all of them are dead the moment you arrive? This might explain why you could survive.”
“No, not all of them. Some of them are still alive and going to attack me but soon they died in front of me one by one in the same manner.”
Toby’s mother is already screaming and hugged Toby when she heard that some monsters were about to attack Toby. After all, she saw the tragedy of the prologue and managed to survive. She only hugged him and said: “My poor boy. How can you face such an event? It must be scary for you, right? You are not allowed to get near the dungeon entrance again.”
If what Toby said is true, Jacky and Boris can conclude that someone is clearly helping him and killing the monster without the boy realizing it. It must be a skilled assassin, someone with a cloaking skill that is enough to avoid Jacky and Boris's detection. But if it was really a skilled assassin, why would they bother doing the kobold dungeon? They couldn’t guess what’s in the mind of the skilled assassin anyway. It is already sufficient for Jacky and Boris to solve the mystery of how the boy is able to survive. To complete the act, they still explain the situation to Toby’s mother and bid farewell.
“So, Madam, it was fortunate enough that Toby entered after a skilled expert. It was the skilled expert that clear the dungeon and made Toby be able to survive. If there is nothing else, we will take our leave now. Please take care of your son so this kind of thing won’t happen again. We can’t hope that Toby will be so lucky to enter another dungeon and survive. Goodbye then.”
Jacky and Boris then returned to their camp in front of the kobold dungeon.
“So, what do you think Boris?”
“I don’t know. First, Damian’s party managed to kill Jeremy’s party. Now, a boy luckily survives because an expert managed to sneak past our surveillance and clear the dungeon without us realizing it. The kobold dungeon has been strange today.”
“Do you think we should report this to the higher up?”
“I don’t know. Your choice Jacky.”
“*sigh* I hope we won’t get a pay cut because of this.”

Back at home, Toby is already on his bed ready to sleep. By his side, his mother is sitting on the ground and sound asleep while holding his hand; doesn’t want to let go in case he sneaks out again and enter another dungeon.
“Why no one understands my greatness? 《Status》!”

“It is too bad that I couldn’t get experience from the monster killed by my aura. I guess I should take it slowly and enter F rank dungeon next time. I need to level up and get enough mana to use my skill. My mother will understand my action then. I don’t mind giving the seat beside my throne for her. I will also need to find a worthy girl to be my demon queen later. It is too bad that this is earth and my hell power couldn’t be unleashed. Behold the world! Wait for my domination!”

This is already my fourth run inside the kobold dungeon. I actually gained a title that is very useful in hunting kobold.

As I gained the title, I can actually only choose one title to be active and the other to be inactive. An inactive skill won’t give the bonus so I unequipped cutthroat and activate the kobold hunter since I am going to keep doing the kobold dungeon a few more times.
I got lots of gold, equipment, and skill book in return. I guess it is time for me to go back and get a good night's sleep. I also need a hot bath. My body reek of sweat. Not like anyone will smell it though. I will organize my item tomorrow and see how much money I got from this hunt. I also hope the boy that I saved earlier will be fine. It is not easy to survive in this world right now.
