Rain. Again. Like Durban itself was crying with her.

"Tonight, we go out. Not to chase him. To forget him," Khocy smiled at Zamo. "From broken to bossy. From tears to money. Are you in?"

Zamo stared at her reflection — hoodie, wet hair, heartbreak. Then at the dress — power, beauty, future.

She slowly took off her hoodie.

"Lets do it," she said, first real smile in months. "Angifuni ukuba yisililo anymore. Ngifuna ukuba yi-legend."

Outside, the rain was still falling.

But inside their little res room, four girls were about to turn pain into power.
