Lily the stray kitten

the beginning

Lily was born in a trunk of a tree with her four brothers and three sisters. she has been waiting for her mother to come back for 2 days and her siblings are all starting to get worried. Amelia said I'll go hunt mother down I'm not scared as soon as she gets to the top of the log she comes running back it's too large out there it's too big how am I ever going to find her. so I walk for hours until I come up on the house that I know my mother lives at. I peek through the window and there's a human petting her don't get me wrong I don't mind humans I just get mad when they interrupt my dinner time. the human walks away from her and guess what didn't let her out the door she starts meowing and they tell her it's too cold out for her she goes and lays somewhere and looks sad. maybe if I can get brother and sisters all to come here maybe we can sit with mom in the hot house instead of out here in the cold freezing cold I'll see what I can do. so I walk all the way back to the tree stump and I tell my siblings what I found mother's not going to be able to come. so how about we go to her. everyone agreed that would be the best idea for us to the very next morning we all leave our little stump. we make it all the way to the house and we're sitting outside the door meowing and meowing I meowing louder. finally the door opens in the lady looks like scared I guess we looked very not very bad. honey call the vet we have some kittens out here without a mother go put them in the cage away from our cats just in case they have something. when mother seen us she was overjoyed and was meowing and trying to pet us trying to get us through the cage that's when her owner realized that they were her kittens and they let her in with us.
