Sirens blare as I look down at Zeus's dead body. Everything feels like it is moving in slow motion. Someone must have seen the fight between us and called the cops. I am covered in blood and Zeus is naked. If the human cops show up, I don't know if I will be able to talk myself out of this.
I rush back into the hotel room and shake Jackson awake. "Get up," I hiss. "We have to go. Now."
