(Rafael's POV) For a moment I felt inauthentic as I held a pile of fruit and gave Lena a hard time. Lena has changed a lot. Five years ago, she was happy, but I had never seen such a lively side of her. Whatever she has been through, these have made her cheerful. I watched Lena knock on the doors of other wards, and the smile on Lena's face as she gave the fruit to other patients was deeply infectious. My gaze mellowed.
