Staring at her small round face and her reddened eyes, She felt as if she was such a big bully.
She patted her gown dusting of the dirt and quickly thought of a way to make her stop crying. She asked Lia in a soft voice
“where you just registered”
Lia slowly bobbed her head in up and down motion. The princess suddenly bust out laughing watching her cute expression.
Everyone was surprise, they were just pitting Lia for running into this spoiled mad queen on her first day and their were not newcomers to her harsh treatments but to their expectations turned into something else.
The princess Lean forward to shorten their heights difference and gently pinched Lia’s bubbly round cheek.
straightening up, she noticed the other kids in the hall were all staring at her like they just saw a ghost and she shot them a very fierce glare.
jolting everyone back to reality and quickly went about their way not wanting to be caught up in a mess.
“You look just like a doll, Come on let’s go get you dressed in a better dress. Tonight you’ll shine like star”
Lia was confused and didn’t understand what she meant, before she could regain her senses she was already dragged away.
Everyone quickly heavy an inaudible Sigh of relief for the queen of disaster was distracted for once without making a huge commotion after dragging Lia to her room she slapped her palm on her forehead
“argh! i had forgotten to pass them the lectures notes for today, they must be very Happy Huff.Adala!!”
She called out to a maid
“yes princess”
go tell them to do 20 push-ups for not reminding me”
the maid was horrified and pity them But she’s nodded and hurried away to deliver the message.
The princess spun around to face Lia who looked at her warily She smiled back at her
“hey cutie, my name is Solina and you can call me big sister”
she patted on Lia’s head Like it was the most natural thing to do
“my name is Lia”
she replied in a soft voice
“OK let’s get started”
Solina said and dragged her to sit in front of of the vanity table
After a few minutes she’s spun Lia around big oval shaped mirror With gold embedded at the edge that was hung on the wall
“done”
she’s beamed with smile
Lia looked at the reflection in the mirror and saw a beautiful cute little girl who looks like a fairy princess
“thank you sister Solina”
“you are welcome”
Solina took Lia’s hands and smiles Evilly,She planned to match up this cutie with her younger brother Ruben later During Welcome party for the new inlets
“Come let’s go and deal with those chickens first”
she said laughing and led Lia out of the room. They both went back to the training hall to join the others.
After some hours Lia finally went to her room, she was totally exhausted from the day’s turn of events and quickly drift to deep sleep
Time slipped by fast and soon it was time for the Party to start,
Solina came knocking on her door which woke of Lia she peed out of the window to discover it was already dark outside
“Lia! Lia!! Lia!!! come out the party is about to start”
Lia quickly fix her appearance and rumple dress before opening the door
“ sister Solina I am sorry I slept off”
“is ok”
Solina took her hand and quickly walk towards the Party Hall
“come on you’re going to miss out”
Solina said the to Lia excitedly. Getting to the hall, she was immediately pulled away by some group of girls around the same age as her to the dance floor.
Lia who was unFamiliar with anyone was left alone to stand at the side like a spectator,
“Here you go little miss”
Lia turned around to the source of the voice and saw a young man with a tray of drinks who was smiling at her,he must be one of the servants she thought to herself and smiled kindly at him
“Thank you kind sir”
She grabbed a glass of pomegranate juice and took a sip and her eyes widened as her taste buds exploded with sweet taste of pomegranate and she immediately drank a mouthful and almost choked on her juice which garnered a chuckle from the male servant who served her
“Do you need more little miss?”
She quickly nodded and down the glass in one go,placed the empty glass back on the tray before grabbing another one
“Thank again mister”
He nodded respectively at her before making his way around the crowd.
