Chapter Seventy
Darque left the Major’s office and headed directly to his own where he found Penny, Bartow, and the Tech Department head, Bob Hamilton, discussing their portions of the operation.
“What have you come up with?” Darque asked Hamilton.
“Getting the team and equipment on Air Force One won’t be a problem,” he said. “We have a detachable compartment that bolts to the internal frame of the aircraft in the cargo hold. Everything needed for the operation will be inside the pod when it’s loaded, including the people. The container will appear to be sealed with locks and cables, and will be identified as a diplomatic pouch. With its accompanying documentation, it and its contents will not be questioned.”
