Chapter Fifteen
Penny received a call from Cheryl the next day, and things finally seemed to be moving forward. Cheryl advised that she and Michaels were to meet at the Hard Rock Cafe that evening at 7:30, at which time she would be given the details for their trip.
The news was what Penny had been waiting for, and as soon as she got off the phone, she went to Darque’s office.
“I just talked to Cheryl, and I think we’re in business,” she said, and then relayed what Cheryl had told her.
“Great,” he said. “Once we get the details of the trip from her, we need to come up with a plan for what we want her to do while she’s with Michaels.”
“I’m already working on it.”
