Chapter Twenty-Five
Michaels’ flight to Germany was uneventful.
Unbeknownst to him, he had been accompanied by a surveillant who ensured Michaels didn’t make contact with anyone on the flight. Once the plane had landed, the agent passed control of Michaels off to Yoda’s waiting team.
Members of the group watched as Michaels cleared customs and retrieved his luggage from one of the carousels inside the terminal. With his luggage in tow, Michaels caught a shuttle bus to the long-term parking lot, and it didn’t take him long to locate the BMW that fit the key he had found in the locker.
Yoda noted that Michaels loaded the luggage onto the back seat of the car rather than the trunk, and then drove to a nearby hotel and checked in.
