Chapter Forty-One It wasn’t that Darque didn’t like reading reports, but it took up time that he would rather use doing something more productive. Unfortunately, he knew the data he needed to make his next move could only be found in the reports he would rather not be reading. With a sigh of resignation, he reached for the folder on top of the pile. It turned out to contain photos and biographical profiles of Major Georgii Dobrenko, the driver of the car in which Kostchenko was a passenger during the surveillance of Cheryl’s vehicle, and Colonel Kostchenko himself. Darque knew who Kostchenko was, but their paths had not crossed during the Russian’s current assignment. He smiled as he picked up Kostchenko’s picture, studied it for a minute, and then put it in the center drawer of his desk
