Chapter Fifty-Three Kostchenko was a bit surprised when he received a call from the FBI concerning the restaurant shooting. The agent explained that investigators had found something a bit strange at the scene, and wondered if Kostchenko might be interested in being briefed on the matter. Even with diplomatic immunity, it’s usually a good idea to meet with the FBI when summoned, especially if it is disguised as an offer of information.
