Chapter Eighty-Three
As the Swiss delegation’s car entered the tunnel, total silence ensued as everyone in the cavern seemed to hold their breaths. Flashlight beams emanating from the car seemed to probe every crevice within the cavern in an effort to detect anything out of place, but once satisfied that no threat existed, the lights were extinguished.
When the first car exited the tunnel out of sight, the team moved into action and took up positions that would allow them to affect the passenger exchange and sabotage the car for its ultimate destruction in the gorge below.
