Yoda’s team was in place by the time the airplane that was supposed to be ferrying Cheryl across the ocean arrived at the Munich Airport. In addition to having personnel both inside and outside the airport to keep an eye on Michaels, some had the BMW under observation. When the last arriving passenger on the flight had cleared customs and passport control and Cheryl had not put in an appearance, Michaels appeared to become a little concerned.
Michaels found a bank of phones where he used one to call her at home, but only got her answering machine. He had been stood up before, but he didn’t expect it to happen after he had provided a free vacation. Once he got back to the states, he would find her and recover what he had spent on her plane ticket. Still, maybe it was best she hadn’t shown
