I tried as much as possible to avoid whatever had been moving in the bushes. I was not too scared, but it was best to avoid whatever had been having fun in there and maybe trying to scare me.
My plan didn't work out because I felt something warm around my ankles, got pulled, and ended up falling on the ground.
It was unexpected, and I did not look out for the rock that was just at the side. I hit my forehead on it before being pulled into the bush. The last I heard before completely succumbing to the darkness was my name being called by Mabel.
“Aurora!”
I noticed the panic in her voice, but what could I do? I was being pulled. Roughly into the bush and the darkness was calling unto me. It did not take long for me to no longer have any knowledge of what was going on around me.
